Odd request I'm sure but... I came from a 1500 and I don't care for the towing mirrors on the 2500's. Since I don't tow I am interested in switching to the Tradesman non-tow mirrors. Simple enough however I have the blind spot monitoring and wondering if the non-tow mirrors are compatible. I did a quick build of a Tradesman and was able to select blind spot monitoring without choosing the tow mirrors. Anyone have a Tradesman with BSM and non-tow mirrors?

BSM radar is in the tail-lights, but the mirrors might have a chip too for the extended BSM when hooked up. Dunno how the tails would see around the trailer while straight otherwise.

Why not just leave them in Stevie Wonder mode? (Flipped down).

Not looking for suggestions, looking for someone who actually knows the answer.

The sensor is in the taillights... the INDICATOR is in the mirrors.

I don’t see any part numbers for the non towing mirrors (or replacement glass) from 2019-2021 that has the XAN sales code attached in the descriptor. There are only two different part numbers for each- heated, and non heated.

Thanks. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if there is someone that actually has these type of mirrors.

They don’t exist. You can’t go by the generic parts drawings. There are only two types of non tow mirrors (as far as the glass goes)- heated glass, and non heated.

What about swapping mirrors from a 5th gen 1500? Is the mount the same?

I don't have an answer to your question, but I replaced the non towing power, heated mirrors on my 2020 tradesman with towing mirrors that I am going to sell if you are interested. Modules included.
