I lowered my rear suspension by a little more than an inch by relocating spacer block. I’m old and don’t like jacking up my trailers as much.

Interested in this....in lieu of a lift or leveling kit.

nice! I may have to look into this! I want a little more space between the bed and my 5er' just would have to see where this puts the front.

I had not thought about this possibility on this truck. Is this a 2500 and 3500 option. I’m not around my truck to look right now. (2500). I have a 1 inch front spacer I keep debating on installing. I do not plan on larger tires yet so with the front spacer will it make the stock tires look too small. I also wonder how this would effect the squat appearance when loaded in the rear? If an option for 2500s it’s something to think about.

Never mind, completely forgot mine and 2500s are coil not leafs.

Good call. Coils here. I am going to give the truck some time, get the TT hitched up and see how it all settles in. My truck has some rake but not a ton. Kind like how it sits now that I have it.

instead of lowering the truck a better choice is an adjustable ball mount. When set up correctly the trailer and tow vehicle should both be as close to level as possible. Towing unlevel affects breaking... sway and on tandem axle trailers improper load distribution on the axle bearings.

More than one truck tows trailer. Most trailers are adjustable.

I’ve since put shims back in as Sulastic shackles lowered it a bit and suspension broke in some.
