2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Glimmer of good news. It has officially left the plant in Saltillo on a train to Winston Salem NC. Does anyone have any input on how that process goes? I’m I still looking at another month?

Just order a 2021 Ram 2500 Laramie 6.7 Diesel on 4/16 and found this page today. I was told by my dealer (Baxter) that I should have my truck in 6-8 weeks. I'm getting the feeling I was over promised. I was told because of the volume that they do that their orders get processed quicker. Not sure if that is just dealer talk for buy from us not the other guys. I was really hoping to see it towards the end of June. Only saw a handful of people get theirs in 8 weeks and didn't hear of anyone getting one in less then that.

Is anyone else getting quotes for this quick?
Welcome to the forum! When I ordered, I wasn't given a timeframe, but I figured it would take 2-3 months. I am just over 10 weeks now with the truck on the train several days ago. The guys at Baxter are nice to deal with, but they couldn't come close to the price I received from Lakeland. I did buy my 1500 from them 3 years ago and had a good experience then.

Have you received any info on your build? I really only got a "okay, I ordered it" from the dealer.
Be sure to ask the sales manager to give you a copy of the "Priced Order Confirmation" (POC). This will list out every option that they ordered for the truck.

Thanks,

What kind of price did you get off MSRP? I got just under 10% and thought I did okay. The other dealer in town was at 7%. I called them back told them the deal I got and they didn't believe me. So that made me feel better about it. I've always bought off the lot and wasn't sure what kind of deal I could get when ordering.

Hello Everyone,

8-Spd Auto Transmission.
Pearl White.
Leather Trim 40/20/40 Bench Seating.
Trailer Camera Wiring/No Camera.
Tow Hooks.
Rear Backup Alarm.
Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection.
Uconnect 12.0 with Navi.
Auto Level Rear Air Suspension.
Power Deployable Running Boards.
Clearance Lamps.
Power Sunroof.
Anti-Spin Differential.
4.10 Axle Ratio.
Mopar Front & Rear Rubber Floor Mats.
Laramie Level B Equipment Group.
Safety Group B.

Ordered on 4/9/2021. Sales Rep says 10-14 Weeks. I don't expect it to arrive until end of August.

I welcome any feedback.

Thanks,

Even 10 weeks doesn't seem bad compared to some of these stories I have read.

I ordered a
2500 Laramie - Bench
Diesel
Level A
Night Edition
5th Wheel Prep

I was told I may have the only night edition laramie with a bench, but I occasionally need the 6th seat.

Nope... i ordered the same (Laramie/bench) but in a 3500 mega cab dually.

LOVE me some bench front seats!

I got a little over 11%, plus any rebates and incentives when truck arrives. The thing I didn't like about baxter was that they couldn't beat the price and they would not give me any rebates and incentives when the truck arrived. And of course we all know there aren't any incentives really right now, but I didn't know that at the time. I showed Woodhouse the price I was quoted and they wouldn't budge below invoice.

I'm currently on the same status. Waiting for the D1 Status "Scheduled For Production" according to my sales rep.

Even that doesn't mean much for some, I've been in D1 for 2 months as of yesterday.

Gotta have the bench seat (family of . This is the only reason I went with the Laramie, as it is the highest trim that has a bench seat available.
Exactly why I ordered mine. I also don't need a diesel truck.

I ordered Jan 2nd and was told approx 8-12 weeks......It's gonna be more like 13 or 14 by the time it arrives( I Hope) but when the recall came out and they held the trucks for a couple weeks it caused the later time frame. I can't blame the dealer for that.

I ordered Dec 31, 2020 and received a VIN on Feb 15, 2021. Two weeks ago my dealer mentioned it was in D1 status and was scheduled to ship on April 22. Today I called Stellantis today and they mentioned the the ship date had changed from Apr 22, 2021, to TBD. That doesn't look like I'll be getting it soon.
