All right, glad to hear. Super confusing the way it sat for so long before being shipped. All kinds of different dates were thrown out between dealer, chat, and RAM cares phone line. But, sounds like it is at least on the way now. I feel more confident now that you've been told similar details. We'll hope for sooner than later.
 
Although I backed out of my order and purchased another truck (just couldn't wait with RV and vacations booked) I am still tracking my ordered truck. As of today it still hasn't shipped (ordered 1/8). The build sheet has been available for over a month but no window sticker yet. What sparked this post is an email I just received from RamChat posted below. Good luck guys!

This is a courtesy email regarding your Ram 3500 factory order status.

At the present time I have no updates to provide regarding your factory order; however, I wanted to let you know that production of these models are underway and we should begin receiving updates pertaining to your order shortly.

I am continuing to monitor your order with our factory resources to ensure it remains prioritized. I hope to have additional updates to share with you soon.

I have set my next scheduled followup with you for your order or email responses for May 3rd at the absolute latest, but will reach out to you further as soon as there are additional updates to share on your order.

Thank you for your loyalty and we’re proud to have you as a member of the Ram Truck Family!

My dealer informed me today that my truck arrived in Shreveport, LA. which about 45 miles and the location where the vehicles are off loaded and wait to be forwarded to dealerships. He could not tell me if it was coming this week or next week.

RamCares message today:
We can definitely help with an update. Great news, your vehicle has been built and is awaiting shipment. Please feel free to follow up with us or your dealer in a few weeks for another update.

How in the world could there not be known point to point arrival and departure times? Who has a million(s) worth of inventory sitting "somewhere" but not sure when it will arrive at the next location? LOL
Either way, vehicle was ordered 3/08 so pretty quick compared to lots of others on here. 2500 Laramie 4x4 Gasser

I agree, it is confusing and kinda frustrating the lack of updates, tracking, and then mixed messages between dealer, chat, and phone. I think some of it is to blame on a cryptic system that doesn't always provide clear updates to the dealer in the first place, so if a less skilled salesman dives in he/she may get wrong info or not interpret correctly. The chat seems to be the most vague and I almost get the impression they are not supposed to give out too much specific info as it gets closer to delivery...maybe they've had issues with theft or something? Strange either way, but seems like they're restricted. But, agree the inability to accurately track such expensive inventory is strange. Seems like in 21st century it could be much better and Stellantis could have a customer portal for folks like us to accurately track our status 24/7 without having to bother reps or dealer. Maybe their leadership will read through this one day and take the suggestions. I think I read in previous posts in this same thread that Ford has a similar system already developed that makes it much easier for their customers to track build progress and delivery. Anyway, agree it is a poor customer experience that could be improved greatly. Hopefully the ordered truck arrivng in the end will make it all worthwhile for all of us.
 
My dealer (going through Phillip from Bud Clary who is great) let me know that he spoke with the factory today and my estimated ship date is now 05/02. He said they have pushed most builds because of the chip shortage. A few of his more recent orders have now either been cancelled or on hold indefinitely because of this problem, but that mine is 100% going to be completed. Crazy. I did get an email from Ram over the weekend to expect my truck at the dealership around 06/03. Fingers crossed! Good luck to those that ordered in the past month.

Ordered 2/10-VIN 2/14- Build sheet 3/19- Window sticker 3/25. ETA to dealer 4/30. Truck is in KZ status. JUST got changed to TBD/ Possibly 5/25.
Dealers shipping sheet says TBD
FCA says 5/25
 
Update on my build.

Got my build sheet from Cryptostickers today

Ram chat tells me today : "I'm showing your vehicle in the stage prior to being released by the plant. Vehicle may been selected for additional quality inspections or held for delivery purposes. At FCA, you can be assured that we take vehicle quality seriously. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided".

Not sure what that means, maybe being held due to the recall?

Probably not for recall purposes. It could be as simple as waiting for a train. Mine got held for almost 3 weeks and I still haven't found out why

Or it could be from the chip shortage. I would assume a Limited like he ordered would have the Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection. This is what I believe my truck has been waiting 6.5 weeks on after it was built.

Although it's only been a week, I am quite glad I haven't heard from him since I ordered.
 
I just chatted with Ram and they said that my 3500 Mega is in the "Trim Stage". Does anyone know where that falls in the build process?
