Is there such a thing as a cover for the fold flat rear floor? I have a couple of border collies and would like some sort of durable cover for the floor.

I just use a blanket. Never seen anything that actually is designed for it tho. I use those clips that hold a picnic table cloth on.

I haven't seen anything specifically for it, but for a trip where we took 4 dogs and 3 humans, I laid one of our K9 Ballistics crate pads down and it worked pretty well. I looped the two corner loops over the edges of the fold-flat floor and it stayed in place for the full trip.

I covered 2 pieces of plywood with carpet and piano hinged it in the middle so it can fold to put the rear seat down, My 120 pound Shepard steps right through the cheapie fold flat that flops around because it doesn,t have any weight to it, with the plywood on top of the fold flat floor its pretty strong, I like it.

Sounds like a great idea. Would you have a photo of your mod by any chance?

That would be a great idea. I have a piece of maple plywood covered in outdoor carpet that I place on my fold-flat floor. I have my ARB fridge, slider and Goal Zero mounted to it for camping trips. It is well over 200lbs and easily holds the weight. My biggest concern was keeping the weight in place while offroad or in an accident. You wouldn't have as much of a concern with that as you won't have a lot of weight mounted to it. I don't have any pics of it finished without the fridge on it.
