Maybe the ship itself was not in Egypt but got delayed taking a longer route? Who knows. Probably joking..

Isn't Satillo on the west coast? How would a ship be faster?

It's all good. I ordered February 10, and was told it would arrive around June. We shall see, at least the chassis is built!

Can your dealer put in another duplicate order? Or maybe you should get your deposit back and order through another dealer
 
Just curious to how many miles your trucks arrived to the dealer with? Mine showed up with 22 miles. Seems kind of high unless they drive it to the third party outfitter?

All I can say is fat fingers! Me bad. My truck was ordered on 3/21 the salesman received a vin conformation number on 3/28.

Mine had 17 miles before I took a 12 mile shake down. Plus a lot of circles in a big lot. Lock to lock on the steering.

That seems a lot of miles... I assume there would be less than 10 on a brand new factory ordered truck.
 
Has anyone ordered a 2021 Bighorn with the Offroad Group? Can you please confirm if your build sheet or POC also includes the Protection Group when ordering the Offroad Group?

To explain... I want the Offroad Group on my truck which comes with the Bilstein shocks... but I had to have my dealer edit my order because they originally submitted the Protection Group only.... and now they say they have edited it, but they couldn't order the Offroad Group without the Protection Group. This seems odd, as on the Ram build site, it "forces" me to choose 1 or the other and NOT both? But the dealer says their system says I must order both?! Confusing. Attached is my POC sheet anyways.... just want to ensure that I WILL be getting the Offroad Group! If its both, then fine... I think Offroad includes the skid plate and tow hooks anyways.

hey alll , soo finally my ram dealership contacted me last week by saying

The truck just went into D1 status and the estimated ship date is set for March 31st!

and i check with them today they tell me

Truck is still in D1. Shipment date has been moved to April 1st. The approximate date it should be here is the 10th

now for who dont know I ordered my truck ram 1500 rebel fully loaded diesel 4x4 on
23/12/2020

I get the vin on 21/1/2021
And from that day tell last week it was on D status
Im sooo excited and nervous tooo knowing my luck i fell it wont be there on the 10th lool

Your dealer seems to have good info. Mine told me yesterday that they couldn't see the location, but since I got my window sticker about the same time as you I'm hoping that our trucks are parked next to each other! Mine is also headed for Maryland.

Did they give you an ETA?

Keep us posted. Mine was built in time to make it on the weekend ferry with you and another fellow, but my dealer says she can't see where the truck actually is so doesn't sound like I'll have any way of knowing. So I'm gonna be optimistic (this is a mistake) and hope that my truck was sitting alongside yours and his on the ferry.

Looks like you have both to me. If this sheet is what was signed and submitted you should be good. The off road package kind of adds to and takes the place of the protection group I thought....with the skid plate and tow hooks being included as you noted.
