2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Delivery was initially slated for 3/5-3/19. Then pushed back to 4/1-4/15.
I got the call this afternoon it was delivered at my dealer!
I just spent 4 hrs inspecting it. I’m very please with the results. With all the issues I’ve read about here, I put together a rather lengthy list to inspect/look at.
The only thing I can say is the adaptive steering feels sloppy. The response seams to lag.
Pick it up Saturday after they clean it up and it gets on the lift so I can inspect the underneath.
Did you think the adaptive steering feels loose on the freeway? It feels like I'm driving a truck from the 80s then another day on the freeway it feels great. Most of the time the wheel is to the right to go straight. I've had it looked at twice for alignment and its not out of alignment.

I didn’t notice it as bad on the freeway but only clocked a few miles at highway speeds. Time will tell on that. I’ll learn to deal with it. It’s not like I’ll take it back because of the feel.
Put 12 miles on it tonight and I’ll do the same Sat. when it goes to get rustproofing. I’ll start the long break in driving in a week or so. It’s not my daily driver.

Not that it makes things any better for us folks waiting, but Ford has suspended their Super Duty production this week due to the same chip shortage:

Yeah, but they have most trucks on the lot. My local dealer has a 450 that's somewhat comparable to the Ram I had built, but still have not recieved.

What incentives is everyone getting right now?

The only incentives are 0% finance for 36 months or if your a lucky one to get an incentive mailer either through email or snail mail. I mentioned before, the lack of inventory and the lack of parts to build new trucks, FCA is not about to start posting major incentives to buy when they cant build them...

I wasn't informed about the chip shortage at all - I found out from here, and then through my dealer who confirm is was "Level B" that they ordered - they claim that Level 2 had been "locked out" of their ordering system which is why they submitted Level B. I plan on adding BSM after I get the truck.
If the truck does not have BSM, how can you add it after the fact? I'm sure mine won't have it as ordered and now I'm even concerned about the surround camera views.......ram.com building a Laramie doesn't say anything about it when you select tow technology but it does show it when building something else like a big horn model.

Interesting. You ordered a month before me. Accordingly, my initial delivery was by mid-April, but they‘ve pushed to late April. Your experience maybe implies they are getting back on track. Roughly 10 weeks? Maybe I’m back to mid April

Yes, the build sheet is populated when the plant has “built” the truck. The window sticker/payload/towing capacity info all populate when the “vendor” is done with the truck, and it heads into shipping status.
I was able to pull the towing capacity info this morning, but still no window sticker...

This showed up today. Unfortunately work was busy, so I didn’t really have time to go sign the papers. I’ll knock it out tomorrow. Order went in 1/19 for reference.
Congrats ! This is one of the few 3500s delivered under 10 weeks. Most of the trucks with speedy deliveries seem to be lower trims/power wagons. I ordered 1/18 but alas with ramboxes and megacab, so maybe thats why mine hasnt been built yet. This is getting frustrating

Good news! My truck has left vendor purgatory, and has finally entered KZ status! I have been informed it has been prioritized for immediate shipping.
That's awesome, hopefully once it's in the states you get a fast delivery to the dealership.

Yeah not looking for anything big, just picking up the $750 and $250 crumbs.
