They are surprisingly quiet. Are those tire loud? I was considering them because of the places I go at times. But they would probably just fill with mud also.

Cooper stt pro if you want an aggressive tire or the good year duratrac or if you want an A/T tire id get the cooper at3 ltx (thats what i am running right now its great tire) general grabber at2 is a nice tire tooWhat tires would you recommend instead of the Toyos?
Ok, so you do have a high enough load rating for what you are trying to tow. And, 80psi is the correct pressure when loaded.35-12.50R20

80 is far to much pressure unless it was at max load 7-8000lbs on the rear axle......and the bigger the tire the less psi requiredOk, so you do have a high enough load rating for what you are trying to tow. And, 80psi is the correct pressure when loaded.
But, I shouldn't assume here... are they the Toyo AT3? Or RT?

I run the STT Pro in 37x13.5-18 on a JK Wrangler and while it's an amazing tire for rock crawling and general offroad use, it wears really really super fast compared a Copper AT3 or BF Goodrich AT KO2.Cooper stt pro if you want an aggressive tire or the good year duratrac or if you want an A/T tire id get the cooper at3 ltx (thats what i am running right now its great tire) general grabber at2 is a nice tire too
I ran stt pros they wear great and lasted pretty good for me with my 05 cummins i got about 80k km on them your 37s are most likely 6 plys vs the 10 plys i ran....I run the STT Pro in 37x13.5-18 on a JK Wrangler and while it's an amazing tire for rock crawling and general offroad use, it wears really really super fast compared a Copper AT3 or BF Goodrich AT KO2.

Do you think that the carcass plies effect the rubber compound?I ran stt pros they wear great and lasted pretty good for me with my 05 cummins i got about 80k km on them your 37s are most likely 6 plys vs the 10 plys i ran....
No but a 6ply tire usually has less tread depth than a 10 ply tire if you go check the specs you can see that is a very common theme also some companys will run different rubber compounds on different load rated tiresDo you think that the carcass plies effect the rubber compound?
Do you think a 6 ply on a 4,800 lb vehicle is similar to a 10 ply in a 8,000 vehicle as far as carcass flex and deflection?
Just asking for a friend.

They are 22/32 new. I happen to keep a new one on the carrier and replace 2 every other year. I don't drive many miles, 35,000 miles in 8 years. I bought this new in spring of 2014 when the Willys Wheeler Special Edition first came out in the JK series. No but a 6ply tire usually has less tread depth than a 10 ply tire if you go check the specs you can see that is a very common theme also some companys will run different rubber compounds on different load rated tires
They are the Toyot R/T. 35x12.5 R20LT 125Q. 12 P.R.Ok, so you do have a high enough load rating for what you are trying to tow. And, 80psi is the correct pressure when loaded.

i dont know if mine had more tread than a 37” but like i said usually 6vs 10 ply the 10 ply has more....i just know they lasted a long time 80,000km or about 50k miles for an aggressive tire thats a long timeThey are 22/32 new. I highly doubt your tires had more depth than mine as new.

This is a coil spring truck no air bags and it does it loaded with fire wood or the trailer.Jesus drop them tires to 60 or so and i found toyos sucked with a trailer on
No one said you had airbags..... side note i had the toyo at2 it was awful for towing or anything reallyThis is a coil spring truck no air bags and it does it loaded with fire wood or the trailer.
Nope, the above is just wrong, and dangerous advice.80 is far to much pressure unless it was at max load 7-8000lbs on the rear axle......and the bigger the tire the less psi required
I haven't used the R/T's for towing. I have lots of friends who have run them and some who tow. But I can't think of anyone who is towing that heavy with them. They are the Toyot R/T. 35x12.5 R20LT 125Q. 12 P.R.
Yes I put 80psi in the rear and installed the upgraded sway bar yesterday. Friday I am hauling the trailer so we will see how much of a difference that made on the swaying. They are great tires overall, but definitely lean more towards off road.
Despite the wrong advice here to not run them at 80psi, you need to run them at 80psi in the rear tires when towing. Have you tried that?
