My 2019 Ram 2500 Megacab makes this loud banging/growling noise when truck is at idle. It sounds like an exhaust noise-but it is not. It seems like it is getting louder! Has anyone else had problems?

Without more information, like what engine, it's hard to make any predictions. There are plenty of threads here for chirping, squealing, popping, grinding. groaning, you just have to put it a little effort searching.

Truth is, it was a nickname for my old truck that I started using on forums.

Glad I didn't call it Brutus! (said with a lisp)

If it is cold outside it will in fact engauge the exhaust brake to help it warm up at idle. It usually will only do it if it have been idling for a couple minutes.
