Defrost Setting

Have ‘20 2500. The defrost will only work on full defrost (without splitting with the floor) if the temperature setting is set to the highest option. One click back from the highest temperature and it kicks it to windshield and floor. We’ve taken it to two different dealers with no luck other than them saying all the 2500s on the lot do this. Has anyone else noticed this? Wondering if there’s a fix for this? Would really like to be able to adjust the temperature without it kicking to our feet...

I probably should have clarified that they said all the ‘20 2500 on the lot are doing it.

19/ 20 should be the same other than the hvac plenum

There's an HVAC TSB for pre 8/20 built 19-20 trucks that possibly fixes this as well as crap A/C. There's new box, control module, and code.

My driver side defrost sucks as much as the driver side A/C.
