10spd? which engine in a Wrangler has 10spd? The 3.6l and 2.0T have an 8spd, not sure about the diesel.

I'm hoping my Aisin comes from the same batch yours did! The 2020 I test drove certainly had "firm" shifts but not at all like some of the rough shifts some here describe. I feel like "rough" shifting is subjective just like a "rough" ride

I agree on ride and shifting firmness being subjective, but a recent owner review of his 2021 Aisin HO combo says they have definitely finessed the programming for the better.

That would be great! I certainly wouldn't mind a more refined trans. I haven't driven a '21. I have an 8spd in my Wrangler and it's REALLY smooth, so I'd be happy if it was comparable. Be happier if it was comparable to the DCT in the M3 :D. Kidding kidding
 
Meant 8 speed but the wrangler is smooth and so isn’t the ram!

Well, still no change on mine being shipped. Comment's from Ram Chat.....
The Ram is in the ship phase but at this time there is not an estimate for arrival at the dealership. We do ship our Ram's out in lots, so more then likely it is waiting for a full load of vehicles before that ETA is finalized. I'd recommend contacting us back in a week or two for an update, but we are available 24/7 if you do want to contact back sooner.

When I built my 2021 3500 Limited, the build site, interior view, does NOT show the Lane Assist button on the top of the 12inch display. The options I selected, included this feature. When the truck arrives, I hope that button will be in the top of the display.

When I built 2021 2500 Big Horn the interior view didn't even show the 12 inch display but it is listed on the build sheet. Will no for sure in April when it arrives.
 
Well I placed my order on Dec 23, 2020 for 2021 Ram 3500 SRW Limited, every option expect snow plow set up. Its been in D1 status for the last 2 months. The dealership has been terrible about any updated and have contacted Ram Car every week and they keep telling me nothing has changed and check back in a few weeks. I need a truck bad, my old truck was totaled and been waiting on the new one to arrive. I have checked https://cryptostickers.net and their is nothing found on that website. Any other options to find out why its taking so long?

The only thing that makes sense is the dealer placed your order as a stock order. Have you seen a copy of the Priced Order Confirmation? Does it say Sold Order on it? Other than that your Dealer maybe did not place the order right away and just sat on it? The Order date is on the POC as well. Have the Dealer E-Mail it to you.

D1 means all the parts are ready to go for your build and it has a tennative schedule. So it should have been built by now. Another possibility is you are D1 but some of the parts that will be installed at the upfitter (post build) are on back order. So maybe they are holding off scheduling your build even though it is in D1. Honestly there are probably over 500 different things that affect assembly line scheduling.

I assume you are from Arizona and not Canada? Canada builds are very low on scheduling priority. Unfortunately.

My truck was a similar order timeframe, and model. Also a fully loaded 3500 CCSB SRW Limited/loaded. My build sheet populated on 2/10, has been stuck at body vendor since then. I would also assume it is being held up due to the parts shortage at the body vendor.

I think he is just going by the extended wait times Canadian builds are experiencing from the guys posting on here. Just reading these posts makes one believe Stellantis is scheduling Canadian builds in “blocks”
 
Had the truck for a few days now, loving it. I will say I test drove a 2019, 2020 before I pulled the trigger on the 21. The brakes on the 21 feel completely different than the other years and they have power behind them and actually stop the truck without having to put extra force into the pedal.

My only dislike about the truck is the steering wheel does not telescope.

That's interesting. The 2020 DRW I test drove had excellent braking, so I'm looking forward to seeing if it's even better.

Any of you Canadian folks that have received their trucks have a time frame from ship date to dealer delivery date? Mine was shipped on March 7 and my dealer is giving me March 31st to April 13 arrival time window. Does that sound accurate? Guess I am getting the itch. LOL

I ordered 10/30/20 and the truck was built 1/17 and shipped 1/19. I took delivery in the Saint Louis Mo area on 2/25. Total of 17weeks. I was in D1 status for over 8 weeks. I can feel your pain.
