just installed my new bed step
i think it’s too much inside the body
can anyone reply a picture of is oem bed step?

Can you get your foot on the tab to open it up? It looks like you can. There are many trucks at the Ram dealer here that look just like yours.

Mine looks exactly like that... the tab sticks out just far enough to get the side of your foot on it to deploy the step.

I just got one from ebay and installed it. If you hold out on it when tightening the bolts it seems to stick out a little farther. Also I got mine from Golling Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge. Ram. on Ebay it was listed for $335...I used the the 15% off accessories from their Dealer web site and got it for $284.xx.
