Look above the bar code at the bottom of window sticker. To the right of the VIN and VON. Can’t remember if it’s the date of manufacture or shipping date, but is relatively close to when truck is made.

More info, the SL date matches the day the truck rolled out of the factor (see below). My truck got sent to the Jefferson Assembly Plant and just got shipped back which is why I believe the SL date changed. Still don’t know reason for the rework.

Guess it’s American Built now.

Pretty cool you have that detailed of information. My dealer treats me like a mushroom, keeps me in the dark and feeds me B.S.

I got an email from my dealer last night that said the truck was on its way back to IL from TX with an ETA of 3/13. I’m in Indiana, by the way. Guess we’ll see.

Well I'm in the same boat as you guys. 21 2500 6.4 with 4:10. Ordered 11/18 Shipped on 1/31 to Spokane arrived the shipped back to TX. ETA supposedly 3/31.

Wow, that’s even longer than me. Hopefully not much longer though for any of us. The weather is breaking here and I’m ready to get the camper out!

Ordered 10-21-20, delivered to Toledo and offloaded on 2-1-21, sent to Detroit sometime in February. Mine is a 6.7 HO, so it's not due to it being a 6.4 hemi. Mine has an SL date of 12-29, not sure if that's 2020, or freaking 2021. Almost 6 months and I still dont have my truck that I desperately need.

Mine is a 6.7 HO as well. Orders 12/16/20 been at body vendor now since 2/10 no movement, no information. I know Ramcares monitors some of these threads, sure would be nice to gain some information on all of these delays. Some of us need these trucks badly.

I know if be pissed if I had ordered a truck, had it paid for or financing secured, and am not getting answers.

Difficult thing for me is that all my incentives have expired, and I need to do some financing for other things that I have in the works, but cannot do anything until this truck arrives. I dont want to do anything to screw up my financing. My salesman has been great, and the GM of the dealership has gotten involved and has been calling everyday asking where my truck is at. Being an ASE Master technician, and owning my own business, I dont really care if they fix the truck, I want to know what they did after it left the factory to have to send it back into the factory. Dont lie to me, just let me know what you did to make a repair. Paying 90k for a truck, I really wanted to have a go pro mounted to the side of it so I could see it being built. I know if there was one mounted to my 134k camper, I never would have bought it. What a piece of junk, hoping this is not like the camper, but with the way Ram is not being forthcoming makes me believe they are trying to hide something. Honesty goes along way when your talking 6 months for a build. Hell, send me a truck in boxes and I'll have it built before I get this one.

Guess I don't understand how your incentives expire. My dealer and I worked out a price when I ordered the truck. He said I would receive any additional incentives that are offered
from FCA during the time it takes for the truck to come in. I ordered the truck Jan. 28th, he called on Feb. 1st saying that there was an additional $1250 I would save because of the
new incentives for February. Maybe things are done differently up here in Canada.
