What did you do TO your RAM today?

So these are more along the line of chip protection than bug deflection?

Probably so.....anti-chip is more important to me anyway.

Good call on getting rid of the firestones! I switched mine back in November and do not regret it at all!
Jc......what was wrong with the Firestones?
I just replaced brand new (Chinese bomb) tires with Goodyears on my Grand Design and they were expensive. I had Continental Extreme Contacts on my 1500 Ram over OEM stock Goodyears and they were great....but, don't know why everyone doesn't like the Firestones.
What did you go with?
Thanks
Ray

They are an average OEM tire... nothing wrong with them.
They are a mild AT tire and seems folks don't like them as they are not 'aggressive' enough... <shrug>

May as well ask why put on a lift kit, and off-road suspension when it will never see a technical off road track.

I bought the gunmetal flush mount ones. https://www.bullringusa.com/product/gunmetal-flush-fit-tie-down-anchors-19-20-dodge/
I did have to trim the plastic. They have a great video explaining it on their site. The lines are already in the plastic. I used a utility knife and a small torch to heat the blade. Then pushed through the scribed line on the plastic. I would get about 2 maybe 3 "cuts" then re-heat the blade. I didn't want to "slice" through the plastic as I didn't want to cut into the paint. It was an easy job though, 15 minutes per side.

Thanks.

The description for those have always confused me with them showing different parts for front/middle/back. I think they do that for just the 1500 box?

My front holes are covered by a box anyway so I would just get two sets for middle and rear.

Does the bedrail cap deflect this much? (this looks like a 1500).

Anything that says Firestone on it is junk to me. I was lucky to get $400 for the take off set with a few miles on them

Brutal, Mine didn't distort at all and I tightened them down pretty damn good.

Besides having to go into 4wd on wet grass they looked like pizza cutters (in my opinion) on such a big truck. I went with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac, they're louder but I don't mind. I also went up a few sizes to 285/75R18, no lift/no level and no rub.

Thanks.

I put 6 Bull RIngs on my 3500. Only the driver's side middle one caused the bed rail to deform because I tightened it a little too much.

Llumar Ceramic tint. The weather is rainy and o recast all week here so the pic isn't great. So far I've done N-fab bars, Ram rubber mud flaps, and now the tint.

My hitch came in.

Installed Tuxedo ProX15 bed cover and Husky No Drill Front mud flaps. Really love the clean, low profile looks of the ProX15. Hopefully the mud flaps will help protect those sexy wide hips.

Installed a Retrax PowerTrax Pro tonneau the other day. Wife wanted electric this time due to the Ramboxes, she can't reach the manual slide lever over them since she's only 5' 2". Works real nice and well built. Also finally got my 2 1/2" shank for my Equalizer e4 WD hitch and got that setup today.
