hello, i was referred here from the 5th gen ram forum. i am currently in the market for a new RAM 2500 but feel like im striking out here and was hoping for some advice. my buddy took advantage of employee pricing in january and im kicking myself in the ass for missing it. some things im looking for:

CCLB
tradesman level 2 with 8.4 screen
6.4 hemi
not white

i have found a couple but dealers are barely moving off of the MSRP right now. any advice on when the best time to look is? right now theyre all around 49K and i dont qualify for any of the BS rebates they offer right now. PLEASE HELP lol

FWIW, I purchased my 2020 Tradesman in late July 2020. I believe I paid around $44,300.

Be sure to check this thread...

As it has several dealers that will price a factory order @ 6% off invoice price.

Lol 49k is not bad depending where you are i paid 80k for my 2019 cclb tradesman lvl2 and the cummins i saved 20k at the dealer too lol

If you get a long bed get the 50ga tank! DON'T fall for what shines and on a dealers lot, you will thank me later....if that means ordering so be it

Man I’m sorry, I wish it was a better time to buy. I bought my 2019 2500 4x4 in November of 19. tradesman lvl2 with 8.4 and a few options. PX8 black.

Sticker price was 47,505. I paid 39,101 during “employee pricing” event.

$80K?

Canadian Kanuckistanibucks?
Yea pretty much we get screwed with the trump tariffs because our leader could not pull up his big boy pullups he was to busy playing dress up and do business with a real leader.... if he had 1/2 the balls trump did we would have gotten a better trade deal... i wonder if him and pedo joe will make trade deals on a kindergarten level so we have a chance lol.... the longhorn i looked at was 103k far to fancy to be a work truck lol

I completely agree on getting the 50 gallon tank. I must admit though, the first few fill-ups there was a bit of sticker shock. Lol

When is the best time to buy? Whenever there’s a newer model year of the truck sitting next to it on the lot. Normally I would say this time of the year would be a great time to buy a left over truck from the previous model year but with limited supply nationwide I’m guessing all of that all of the 2020’s are gone. I bought my truck in August 2019 when the 2020’s were starting to hit the lots. I got 18% off of MSRP. With inventory low there aren’t any deals like that right now and there may not be for a while.

wjcook -I love that Hydro blue! I couldn’t find a CCLB Tradesman in that color when I was looking.
