Got an update from RAMCares, and it is week 14.5 for me. with no new estimate on delivery. So, I need to rant a little, and if you don't want to partake then just skip the next paragraph.
The past 4 weeks have been having no idea where the truck is. Ever since it left the add-on facilities I have no clue where it is. The part that is irritating is that I'm getting the same cut and paste message from RAMCares that my case has been elevated and I have priority, etc... but why can't they tell me what the holdup is? I get it that parts are short, or the pandemic is screwing everything up, weather slows things, and everything else. I deal with that all the time and in most instances I can find out and suck it up. So why can't they share those details? Knowing would make it better; at least for me. Stellantis sure knows where the vehicle is, how couldn't they? Why is the customer not entitled to know? I too remember VOTS. It may not have made orders quicker; but, the transparency made everything so much better because in this case, you know that RAM knows what's going on and are actually sharing what they are doing to expedite a late delivery. The email I get now that matches word for word a couple I have read on this thread from RAMCares is not the same thing because I can't see that they are doing anything and/or whether they are actually having an effect with someone who can do something about it. I am part of this transaction and I should have the right to be in the know when it comes to this truck, especially when deadlines are missed.
So now, The next scheduled update is Mar 8. For an 11/14 order, a 1/15 build, and an s/l date of 1/22. I'm not blaming the folks
@RamCares because I know they have rules to follow and this aspect must be frustrating to them too. But I hope they send these types of complaints up the chain....
Rant over. and Thank You.
