Anybody Have Any Issues with the new HD's yet?

My 12" Etch A Sketch went berserk today. My "soft opening" tailgate crashes down, and the cables are substantially different lengths, so one carries all the weight. Also, hoping there is a reflash for the Aisin.

last thrusday on the way to the cabin while towing my single axle trl loaded with lawn tractor, i was getting on rt 322 w, started to accelerate up the ramp, 18 whlr moved over but jack ass in other lane cut inside him to slow lane, i floored it to outrun him, the gas pedal stuck wide open, 40mph to 85 mph does not take long with this trk, when i realized the pedal was stuck i hit the brakes hard and the dash lit up saying the Electronic Throttle Control had failed and would go to service mode, the pedal did not feel freed up so i put my toe under the gas pedal and pulled back on it, i heard a snap, like a broken branch or something and all seemed well again, looked in the "messages center" and nothing there .... have driven it almost 400 miles since then and all seems to be operating ok .... i don't think i will take it to the dealer just for them to tell me they can not reproduce the problem .... anybody else have a similar problem??
EDIT: on page 184 of the Ram manual it says this ....
— Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Warning Light
This warning light will illuminate to indicate a problem with the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) system. If a problem is detected while the vehicle is running, the light will either stay on or flash depending on the nature of the problem. Cycle the ignition when the vehicle is safely and completely stopped and the transmission is placed in the PARK position. The light should turn off. If the light remains on with the vehicle running, your vehicle will usually be drivable; however, see an authorized dealer for service as soon as possible.
NOTE: This light may turn on if the accelerator and brake pedals are pressed at the same time. If the light continues to flash when the vehicle is running, immediate service is required and you may experience
reduced performance, an elevated/rough idle, or engine stall and your vehicle may require towing. The light will come on when the ignition is placed in the ON/RUN or ACC/ON/RUN position and remain on briefly as a bulb check. If the light does not come on during starting, have the system checked by an authorized dealer.

Found a puddle of red fluid under the front diff, took it to the dealer and they had to replace the brake booster. Not a big deal except had to wait more than a week for the part! At least I had a Ram 1500 as a rental.

Edit: 3,300 miles
RENTAL...on NO, Loaner is what they give me.

Cables being a different length is a common issue among all brands going back years... they were complaining on the 1500 board about this as well, I posted up several links showing it is not a new issue nor is it limited to RAM.

Hope there is a fix available for your other problems!

Most dealers around here that actually give you a vehicle do not 'loan' out of their fleet.. they provide you with a paid rental.

Neither my '05, nor my '15 had unequal length cables.

Great... doesn't change the fact that it is a known issue among all brands spanning years.
These things aren't put together with exacting measurements... there are build tolerances and variations between builds, normal byproduct of mass production.
If you remove the cables you will likely find they are the exact same length...same thing they found out on the 1500.

Nor my '04 Chevy, my '87 Ford, my '86 Ford, nor any of our company trucks;)

Picked up my 2500 Limited Mega last night. I don't want to report much yet, given I've had it less than 24 hours, but I can confirm 1 thing: The air conditioning is abysmal. Like to the point where it has me second guessing the purchase, despite the numerous good things about the truck. I've kept it on 60 (manual, not auto) at various fan speeds, and while the air coming out is cool, it is by no means cold. And because it takes so long to cool the cab air, the ventilated seats don't do squat. It is a modest 80 degrees and sunny today. My commute is just under 10 minutes; in my Sierra 1500 I just traded, I was turning the fan down to low by the time I got to work, and the cabin air was quite cool. In this truck, even a higher fan speed left the truck barely cool by the end of my commute.

I am going to make a fuss with my dealer, despite knowing what their answer will be. But maybe if enough of us complain, we will see a recall or something.

Best of luck... the 1500's have been out longer and have had the same issue with zero movement on the part of MOPAR.

On several occasions now, I've come out to find my tailgate down. On most of those occasions, I've been inside a building, quite a distance away. I've tried remote starting the truck with the fob from the same location without success, so I don't think I'm accidentally double pushing that button with the keys in my pocket. Today I parked and when I got out and had locked the truck (with the button on the door handle), I noticed that the tailgate was down.

Unfortunately on the first couple of occasions, the tailgate hit a sign behind my truck, causing several chips in the paint. Anyone else experiencing this?

Luckily for me NO...could it be possible with the FOB in your pocket it getting pushed...?
My car FOB does that

Hi Warweasel,
We understand your concerns about this. If it continues to happen, we recommend contacting your preferred FCA dealer to have this inspected. We're available via private message if you need additional assistance.

Just started over weekend, but in phone mode pictures of contacts are disappearing. Did have pic on everyone then one left now 4 more pics left today. Not syncing up or something... any ideas.
Not too worried since not keeping this 2500 but just a heads up.

When I turn the wheel to the left in a quick manner (parking speeds) I get a whine/hum. Only lefts, and it's either coming from the column or making its way up to the wheel from the steering input to whatever this truck uses.

I don't mind it so much though, and it's done it since day 1. Id rather live with the audible than trust the dealer to do any work on it with my history with warranty troubles. Long story short every warranty issue I've done has literally caused more damage to my vehicles

Oh, and I get flagged a lot by oncoming vehicles even with low beams on. I have the mid level LEDS

Likely not leveled...my LEDs aren't properly adjusted... one of many items to address once I take it to the dealer...

It's very seldom at this point. But if I'm getting it now I'm sure I'll be getting more whilst towing my camper.

Id loooooove a nice air suspension for the rear but I'll have to wait till next season

I thought it was only me! Yes, I have the same issue and the squeal comes from the steering wheel column! Left only too....

The little fit and finish items consume the most time with dealers.....new tranny can be done in a day...squeal takes 3 weeks with the truck just sitting there on the lot before the “squeal master mechanic” can look at it....ugh!
