Winter pictures

My wife and I were in Alaska July 1998. Drove from Anchorage to Denali and kept seeing the signs on the highway about the hundreds of moose that had been killed on the road. I've seen several over the years in MN and Ontario, but not her. She wanted so bad to see one. We explored the backroads hoping to see one but no luck. I guess people even have them in their yards in Anchorage. Oh well.

Plow markers just so you know where the edge of your blade is so you dont wreck stuff
No. I have those too. I was referring to that yellow triangle shaped "thing" between your plow lights. I was thinking it was a sight for aligning your plow for ease of attachment. I struggle with mine. I'm In and out of the truck several times before I get it right. I have maybe 1/2" at best of wiggle room.

Thats my lift frame all fisher plows have em thats what the lift cyl and chains attach too... what plow do you have? My fisher has 4” wide receiver brackets so just a rough eyeball having the light inline with the hood ridge and it goes in first time everytime

Ahh, OK. I see it now. I have a SnowEx v-plow. I have flared receiver brackets but I don't think they're designed properly because they really don't guide the plow into mounts. The mounts on the plow go to the outside of the mounts on the truck. When its attached there is maybe about 3/16" to 1/4" on each side between the plow and truck mounts. Not much room for error.

Yea the snow ex has tiny flared guides and with the head gear down you have nothing to line up to... one of the few downfalls of the snow ex they are a great plow though

Same here..we’ve had family and friends come for a visit and couldn’t find one either...soon as they leave I have them walking across the yard...

Thank you. I need to come up with something. I might borrow the laser sight off my AR.
You could easily mount some sort of vertical upright like a plow guide that would line up with the left ridge of the hood

Yea. Boss makes a kit with a target you paste to the back of the plow light and a pin that screws to your hood or grill. Not sure that I want to do that but that's all I've been able to find so far.

I would not put anything on the hood your hood has a ridge line that you can use for the truck side the plow side just needs something so you can aim at

For refference look at the difference in lineup room between the snow ex and fisher its amazing they are from the same parent company with major design differences like this

the snow ex is first the. The fisher headgear and mounts looks like snow ex has 1” of line up vs the fishers 4”
