I think that’s how it goes here, when I lived in Wyoming you just transferred plates to the new vehicle. All I know is I’m tired of looking at the RAM lot every day on my way to work and not seeing my pickup. I’m going to rear end someone one of these days. When my wife and I go out to dinner on the weekends she just knows now that we have to roll through the lot to make sure they’re not hiding it in the back somewhere.

How fast do things move if you order the high end RAM config?

Ordered 2/10/21 in MN
Status 2/17/21 Status shows D, Got VIN & VON #'s

2021 3500 Limited NE CC SRW P.Blue HO/Aisin 5th Prep TTPMS Air Susp & just about everything else...

Seems hit or miss, I ordered basically the same truck in a longhorn on 2/4 so we'll see! I was in D status with VIN/VON the next day but haven't heard anything since.

I'm counting on them pushing the high end products faster into the line...
But, yea, we'll have to wait to see how they do things...

Ram 3500 longhorn fully loaded came in yesterday, right around 11 weeks from order. Love the truck but not gonna lie GMC rode way smoother then the ram! GMC’s new cab is much more spacious then mega cab, and taller, more head room I guess? Both Pearl white, couldn’t believe rams Pearl white is way more off white Pearl which online on build page looks white not yellowish. Besides that solid truck, interior obviously goes to ram for build quality and less of plastic! Headlights go to ram as well, just because they actually turn then you turn and give way better view, there gmcs didn’t and was always weird angle then you drive on dark roads. Seat comfort goes to ram as well! Getting. In and out, ram comfier, it sits little lower. Audio I would say a tie between Bose in GMC and Harman/kardon in ram. Performance goes hands down to duramax, comparing to Cummins ho with aisin. Drove it home for about good 50 miles cruising 75mph was averaging 16-17 mph, Duramax a was little more economical doing about 19-20mpg cursing same speed.

That’s great. Rented a 2500 bighorn diesel this summer and pulled travel trailer almost 2k miles and it had the beach. Center console is great on bucket config but sort of cool having a little extra middle leg room with the bench. Plus the extra seat if needed. Although I guess you could stow a small child into the console that comes with the buckets :)
 
Window sticker came up today, so I guess that means it will get delivered to my dealer by the weekend?? :)

For those that have picked up their trucks recently, how long did it take from window sticker until it arrived at your dealer?
Back in January, my POC doc was showing a shipping date of 2/17, which is today. but when I checked a week or two ago, that had moved out a week. I'm guessing the availability of the window sticker does not mean the truck is necessarily being shipped immediately??

I saw it, seems to only affect Laramie and below, however, a rep from RamCares came into the forums and made a post that ordered trucks would come with all features, no mention of trim level.

I doubt they push the "high end" products faster, even though I ordered one. The prevailing theory around here is that they do them in batches of trim level, so I guess we'll see since you ordered a week after me. Maybe they'll show get built at the same time.

Remember I ordered on 2/3..Here is the latest from Ram Chat on my build;
I am showing all of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process shortly.

Yeah mine is in the same process.

I'm fighting the urge to get all up in the business of FCA for about 8 weeks to just see what happened. I ordered my Jeep around this time 2 years ago and I was neurotic about checking on it every day. I'm just gonna take a more hands off approach to this truck until about the 8 week point where I'll start caring more. I'm fortunate that I don't need the truck (I don't think anyone who orders has a need for it immediately) but it would sure be nice to not daily drive the race car in the rain!
 
I'm with you on that. Today was actually my first check on Ram Chat. I just wanted to see that it was 'in the system'. Knowing that , time goes faster when less checked.
