Its a 2018 with 30000 miles. Looks good and not beat up. It was used for one season in Maryland plowing parking lots. 68rfe 2500 Laramie.
I've been out and about including a long drive out to a remote area. I bought some Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's before I even had my truck. I was already impressed with these tires for how quiet and smooth they were but after taking them out on the snow and ice and light offroad, I'm really loving these tires. Unless their performance and comfort really degrades a lot with wear, I'd even forgive them not having great tread wear although I'm not expecting that. Overall, things are a mess here. Hopefully, we'll burn enough carbon to prevent this from happening in the future. How are you dealing with the snow there? I'm Southeast of Lake Ontario, 6 inches of snow is no big deal. Snowmobiles are fun!!!
I wouldn't, but that's because I wouldn't buy any truck from up north. Don't want no rust bucket.
Proper annual undercoating and you wont have a rust bucket^ That is the correct answer. Especially one that is pushing around all that salt crap.

Regular washing with under body spray helps immensely. Just like anything, you have to take care of it.^ That is the correct answer. Especially one that is pushing around all that salt crap.

We have idiots up here too... But some of them ply their trade on the snowmobile trails, usually fitschaced from the refreshments at all the pit stops.I've done enough winter driving to know my limitations and to also know that most people here don't. During one ice storm we had here years ago, I saw a woman in a Boxster (I'm sure with summer tires), do a slow speed complete 360 next to me on a service road. I was making sure to avoid her but when she spun around my way I saw her eyes and I have never seen somebody's eyes wider in my life.I'm not even sure how she did that.

We had a tour bus stuck on a sled trail their GPS told them that was the way and the driver was not smart enough to stop lolWe have idiots up here too... But some of them ply their trade on the snowmobile trails, usually fitschaced from the refreshments at all the pit stops.
Here is an example of a well taken care of plow truck.... i have plowed with it for years before putting the plow on my 19 and not a spot of rot anywhere you can even wipe the undercoating off and see the factory black paint on the frameI wouldn't, but that's because I wouldn't buy any truck from up north. Its easy to tell just get under and look also bring a magnet to check for bondoBut being used do you know that the previous owner did all that and took care of it? Impossible to know just looking at it. Not a risk I would be willing to take with my hard earned money. I made the mistake of buying a north eastern truck once. Looked good when I bought it but a couple years later it all started coming through.

Apparently i should never buy a local used truck as they were driven in salt nation......No
Truck owners are weird and do weird s**t to their trucks. Never buy a used truck.
