I want to do an S&B but waiting till warranty expires to touch anything fuel system related due to the cp4. This truck is only 6 inches longer than a crew cab longbed.Did they put in a bigger fuel tank? That is one long wheelbase. It's almost like the long hauler truck concept they made.
I just checked: wheelbase is 11.5in longer on the MC compared to the CC with both short beds. So it should remain 11.5 with the long bed. This truck is only 6 inches longer than a crew cab longbed.
WHat is the time frame and cost to do that?Been wanting one of these since I saw the first one about a decade ago.. finally made it happen! Thanks to Custom Solutions (Stretch My Truck) out of Utah for taking my perfectly good truck and cutting it in half.

No, why?Do you have any issue getting insurance for that?
The truck doesn’t fit in all the same spots it didn’t fit in before.. I have a diesel golf for around town stuff anyways.I just checked: wheelbase is 11.5in longer on the MC compared to the CC with both short beds. So it should remain 11.5 with the long bed.
I would love that truck to travel. But damn, as a city DD... ouch!
48-72 hours and many thousands of dollarsWHat is the time frame and cost to do that?
I actually laughed out loud at this... you got me. However I asked around on the megacab longbed Facebook pages for last couple years about warranty issues. Majority of owners have returned to dealer after conversion and dealer doesn’t even notice. The shop that did it said I have for sure voided frame and driveshaft warranty but they warranty those items themselves. And when have you heard of any Ram with a full on frame warranty claim? Now, with the fuel system issues these trucks are having I can easily see them trying to deny warranty for an aftermarket tank/lift pump. Last I heard it was 15k+ for new fuel system tank to injectors. Not worth the risk at this moment.Dakrt23: ”I don’t want to mess up my warranty”

Easily 10-12k is my guess.
You need a bed, painted to match, and some very expensive labor
You’re not wrong at allI think I would take that 10K and out it on a new truck that fits my needs.
I love my Mega, but that's a lot of cash to keep it and have a long bed.
I know all to well about spending cash on add ons haha...You’re not wrong at all
But maybe that is the truck that suits his needs.
Hell, I’ve bolted over $10k worth of junk onto mine already to make it suit my needs better if I count the topper that I’m waiting on.
Easily 10-12k is my guess.
What did they do for the driveshaft? One piece 5” aluminum? Or did they just retube the old back 1/2 of the shaft?I actually laughed out loud at this... you got me. Depends on your year make model options etc.. all I know was 2019 3500 ho srw with air ride and fifth wheel package was about 9kI would assume thousands and not hundreds...can you elaborate? I tried calling the shop but....seems his voice mail is full.
Less than that, and depending on your particular model, maybe way less than that.Easily 10-12k is my guess.
