Possible ball joint issue....among other things?

Keep us updated on if it fixed issue..... They need to update something in design or shorter bolt. To resolve this not bringing mi e I. Till this is all gone and possibly a updated fix. Don't have time to waste back and forth with dealer nonsense

The tech told me that on the other truck he first took the bolt out and used shims and cardboard as a buffer to kind of “tighten” things up, then went for a drive with the owner and NO RATTLE. He had narrowed it down to the rear passenger side mount but ordered all new ones. Replaced after checking thickness and all was good! He didn’t mention a shorter bolt. Rest assured I will keep you and the forum updated when I can get the repair done!!!! It’s driving me NUTS!!!!

I posted some info on the cab mounts and bolts not sure if it's this forum or another but I think the bolts are too long...using different/shorter cab mounts and same length bolts as previous years. There is a video somewhere I can see the movement and noise from mount

Yes! I have that video on You Tube. Definitely something going on there with the bolt too long or mount too thin? We will get to the bottom of this noise!!!!!!

You can imbed videos here. Unless maybe you're on a phone.

Have some sound to my clicking from back seat.

Audio isnt the best and it sounds different in person but you get the idea..

I also have a 2019 ram 2500. Gas CC. I have the front end driver side clunk going over bumps. More noticeable in cold weather or when turning left and going over bumps.

I do have a thuren leveling kit with track bar so I know the dealer isn't going to help me on this one. However I am almost positive the level has nothing to do with it. I have double checked the torque on all the parts that were touched to do the lift. Including track bar and regreased. Didn't help. Its 5° today and almost every bump it clunked. Cold weather definitely makes it worse for some reason.

Cold weather does make it more apparent I notice it from front when cold too idk what it is but the updated cab mounts didn't help it

My 2020 is doing this too! The same as my 2019.
