I have had no luck with my sales guy regarding updates, he keeps telling me the truck doesn't have a VIN or VON yet, only that it's in the middle of "allocation". I doubt he'll have any information on this but I will make sure that he knows I'm not buying it without it, or they will commit to installing it (at no charge) once the parts are available.
What I would do is have him print the original order sheet and see if its listed as an option. I think it was 7 weeks when I got my Order sheet and 8 weeks for monroney. I will check to make sure my truck comes equipped when I pickup in March. I understand Covid and other issues are to blame, understandable we're in a pandemic. However, this is a great time for companies to show some empathy to customers and put themselves in our shoes and just release a statement etc. OR if you're not able to have the blind spot monitoring, at least make it an option that the dealer can install when parts become available at no cost to the consumer.
Like I have said in other posts, go to your dealer and ask them for the P.O.C. (priced order confirmation). It will have all of the current info such as the vin, von and current build status among other pertinent info regarding your vehicle. The sales manager knows what it is.
Good to hear. Now just ask your dealer for a copy of the Priced Order Confirmation (POC) . This should get you the estimated ship date and the current status which is likely D1 right now. I got my window sticker on 09 Feb and my estimated ship date was 07 Feb. So you can expect to see your window sticker a couple days before or after your estimated ship date.
I do have the POC when I ordered and the estimated ship date is blank. Would that be filled in once issued a VIN?

In the 367BHS, I'm able to get to both bathroom and at least one side of the fridge. We have it currently parked at WillowTree RV Resort in Longs, SC. through end of April. With working remote, I spend as much time here, if not more, than I do at home. We bought the GD in November and love it! Had been looking at them for about two years before getting rid of the tagalong and taking the 5th wheel plunge.
Wow!! Feel bad for you. If I get to 10-12 weeks, I'm sure I'll be getting antsy!! I can only imagine 20 weeks. I sold my dually last week, figuring I would just squirrel away the saved payment and insurance savings to apply to down payment, as Lord knows if any incentives will be available by time of delivery. So, I figured every month just adds to the DP, but 20 weeks... OUCH!!
I asked the salesman for any updates and a POC via a text message, and that's when he called and told me it moved forward, had a VIN but no build date. He did not give me the POC though. I guess I need to push him harder on that.
It should be, I had one when I first order my truck that the dealer had me review but didn't have the VIN and then the dealer sent me a new one once he had the VIN on it and it had the updated info.
