2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Ordered yesterday, already got a VIN!
Patriot Blue Limited Longhorn 3500 SRW Mega HO/Aisin
All options except sunroof, 5th wheel, and snow chief

Got an excellent deal through Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Lexington Park, had a great experience with them ordering our 2019 JL Wrangler and so far the experience has been the same.

Hoping we don't get any delays due to the semi conductor issues.

Our dealer has not found anything about it being taken off yet. As of this morning it was still listed as part of the Safety Package on the Ram Build site. And I have only seen the one original post here stating that a dealer told them about it. So maybe it is not accurate information? If anyone has confirmation from additional dealers or anything other than the one note here, maybe post a link to confirm the deletion of Lane Assist?
The one dealer I spoke with a couple weeks back when building out an order sheet said their order system and Ramtrucks.com are not always in agreement as their system gets the updates well before the Ramtrucks site does, which makes sense given the dealers are placing the orders. He was surprised that my build price came out exactly as expected by the Ramtrucks tool.

Interestingly, I checked the current prices on the website against the dealer build sheet I have and the base price actually went down, 3 options changed prices, but in the end the MSRP was the same.

Who sent you the VIN?

I didn't think that you could get the 5th Wheel prep with the ramboxes.

Agree. Anyone ordering a truck and cannot build what they want I suggest contacting a dealer. I wanted the night edition with a megacab DRW but couldn't configure one. Asked my dealer and he updated my quote. Would be really disappointed if I were to get my truck and see other 21's with that option.

You can't, the 5th wheel group was on my exceptions list and ramboxes were the reason. I see now that I probably could've written that better

I ordered a 2021 RAM 2500, crew cab, srw, 6.4L, 8ft box, Laramie, 5th wheel prep, 50 gl tank, air level suspension, trailer tech group, Level 1 Laramie pkg., 4.10 gears, 4x4, limited slip axel, bed utility group, tri fold tonau cover, NAV on 30 Jan 2021. I haven't gotten a vin yet. Is there a way to track the build? Dealer says 8 to 10 weeks. After reading all this, that sounds about right. I hope!!iris.jpg

Your dealer should be providing you with updates, but if you have a VON you can contact Ram via chat (I'm not super familiar with Ram specifics, but it was JeepCares when I ordered my Jeep) and they'll tell you what the status of your build is.
The dealer really should be the first point of contact, don't hesitate to poke them to get a status if you haven't heard anything lately.

We are very close, I ordered mine on January 28th. My salesman told me today it does not yet have a VIN. He doesn’t seem like he’s going to be very gracious with his updates ‍

Anyone know if there is a Canadian version of Ram Chat? I tried them and apparently Ram Chat is for US customers only. Dealership telling me they have not had an update in over a month. Over 8 weeks since I ordered and not even a VIN yet. Someone must know something.

Will be interested to see how long your truck takes to get, almost the exact same build mine was, took almost 20 weeks to get mine...

Finally put my order in today 2/6/2021...MSRP: 68,100 sale price: 60,665 plus any rebates/incentives at delivery.
Had to edit the post as some of the packages have changed. The Blind Spot Monitoring has been pulled from the Towing Tech Group B (used to be just group) and Laramie Level B (used to be Level 2) and is no longer available.

I ordered a 2500 Laramie in early January. Shortly after I ordered, I received an automated email from Ram giving the VIN and a delivery date of mid-March. When the dealer was putting the order in, we noticed that the MSRP for the Safety Group in the build sheet was listed as $1,590, while it was (and still is) listed as $1,990 on the consumer build site. At the time we didn't have an explanation for the change, although it seemed odd that Ram would drop the price of the package by 20%. I wonder now if the reason is that the Lane-keep assist and/or other features are being dropped from the package. When I looked at a few in-transit 2500s with the Safety Group, some windows stickers list the Lane-keep assist as part of the package and some do not:

Example #1 (SL date of 1/30): https://www.ramtrucks.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=3C6UR5FL0MG545081

I haven't been able find any info from FCA Canada, only my dealer and this web site. It takes a while for things to happen.
Ordered 22 Oct
VIN 09 Dec
Confirmed order report 04 Jan with estimated ship date 07 Feb
Equipment listing populated 05 Feb
Monroney report (windowsticker) 09Feb
Hopefully they will meet their estimated ship date

I just clicked on both of your links and they both show all 5 items.

My truck (SL 1/13) on the website shows the safety group with the $1990 price. My order sheet showed that price as $1590 and that's what's on my sticker. There were some price differences between the web and my order sheet, some things were more some less, but it all came to out to be equal or very close.

On my window sticker the safety group only lists the following 3 items:
Full–Speed Forward–Collision Warning Plus
Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop
Blind–Spot with Tag Trailer & Cross–Path Detection

My sticker does not mention digital rear view mirror or adaptive steering anywhere but my truck has them.

My window sticker did come in $200 higher than my order sheet which was from a hike in the base price. We had already agreed on the price before and that's what I paid.
