2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Two questions and sorry if I didn't see the info as I am new here:

Where can I look up and follow my VIN?

Where are you finding rebate info?

Thanks for the help.

Here is the link for the Build sheet

https://www.ramtrucks.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=XXXX just change the XXX to your VIN number
here is the link for window sticker

With regard to the $1500 or $1000 dollar rebates. Those are TDM's or Targeted Direct Mailings and are randomly generated, ie., not everyone gets them. I went to the Ram Trucks site where you can Build and Price your truck. Once you do that, scroll all the way down and there is a place on the far right column where you can "Register Your Vehicle". Even if you don't have your VIN you can enter your email and other info. After I did that, I was fortunate enough to get my TDM's. Good Luck, I hope it works for you.

ordered truck 9/30/2020. I am now at week 18 and still no truck. dealer told me 3 weeks ago it was on a rail car and once it got to Ohio rail yard he was going to get it as fast as he can. but he said last friday that its still showing that its on a rail car. This is driving me nuts.
Did you order a 2020 or 2021? its crazy how people that ordered in Sept and Oct are still waiting on trucks

I just got an email from cryptostickers.net say my VIN tracking changed, says the build sheet is found, when i open it it says no records for corresponding VIN. just curious if it takes awhile to be able to view build sheet.

Hmm, maybe contact the dealer to double check!

I was able to retrieve my build sheet using the link in post#1626 but it does not populate on the cryptosticker site.

For me it was several hours from when I received the email notification to when the build sheet was actually available on cryptostickers.

yep-it shows up there now-any idea how long until the payload and towing data is available or do i need to wait until window sticker is generated?

Hopefully finally getting my order placed with local dealer today. Been going back and forth for a while, finally decided to go with the Big Horn Hemi, night edition CC standard bed in Granite Crystal. Let the waiting begin. They wanted $1000 down but told them I would only do $500 and wasn't really thrilled with that. Had to ask them if they were willing to lose the deal over it...

It was about 3 days between build sheet and window sticker. Somewhere in between I was able to see the payload info - probably two days after the build sheet. Reminded me of the Siri Cookie Monster commercial.

Ok thanks, so true with the cookie monster, thats exactly how i feel waiting for my new truck

Well I optimistically hopeful that my truck will be at my dealer next Monday. I've gone through Ram Care and my Dealer and initially wasn't getting much success. My Dealer has been Very Good to work with. His Regional Manager was pushing hard for the truck to be delivered this week since it's been in the rail yard for over 3 weeks now, but that didn't work out. So,,, the Dealer then went above the Regional Manager, with his knowledge and blessing to the "Zone" Manager who tried to pressure the transporters to get the truck and that must not have worked so now they have contracted a "Special" hauler, likely a "Hot Shot" to transport mine and likely another two trucks to the Dealership. It's "Guaranteed" to be at the Dealership Monday the 1st of Feb. That will be just shy of 20 weeks since ordered and just shy of 19 weeks in the system. I'm crossing my fingers that it gets here and is undamaged...

I hired a hot shot dude once to tow my truck from TN to NJ (blown motor). Guy loaded the truck backwards on the trailer and the wind caught the bed cover causing it to break free but first slapped against the roof denting it in multiple places before ending up on the highway somewhere. uShip refused to get involved. Broker / shipper who farmed it out to a 3rd party who physically hauled the truck refused to give me his insurance so I can file a claim. I ended up filing a claim with my own insurance company who went after the hot shot dude. Turns out he didn't have insurance. uShip points finger to broker. Broker points finger to Hot Shot owner/operator. I get screwed. Total damage was $3226.37. Shipper also dropped truck off ramp when unloading.

Lesson learned - never hire a so called 'hot shot' (although I thought I hired a professional via uShip). I know there are many who are professional but the one time I needed a professional I got a camel.

Some pics below. Sorry for derailment off topic but thought I'd put things in perspective for some. Waiting isn't that bad. Things could be worse. LOL

Well, I hope I have better luck than you did... This is being booked and shipped by RAM Rep. So if something happens it's on them. I don't own the truck yet. I'm hoping it goes well, but if not I have a backup. There is a 2020 Laramie nearly optioned the same with exception of painted bumpers, running boards, rubber floor mats and wheel house liners. There is two $500 rebates on that model and only a $2000 difference between them on the window sticker. If my truck isn't here or is damaged in transit. Guess who's pushing for the Laramie and I keep the rebates and they, RAM will eat the difference in price and option out the truck with the missing items listed above.

Odds are you will be fine just check the truck over before signing docs.

I checked with my dealer today and still in D1 status. Been there since 12th or so. I asked about delivery times and he didn't respond to that question. Just said D1 and I'll let you know when it ships.

Sit and wait.

Thanks, I will. I want them to wash and dry it. Then I'll visually go over it panel by panel checking for ding's, dent's or scratches. I'm also going to check the hood and roof and undercarriage. I hate to say it because I'm usually somewhat very trusting but not anymore. Trust but verify is my new motto.
