Hello all and greetings from Kodiak, Alaska. My wife and I ordered our first ever truck the first week in January. It's a 2021 RAM 2500 Laramie ,6.4L Hemi, White, Night Edition with most of the available options. We're very excited. I've already got an estimated date to the dealer of 3/18/2021, not too shabby. I'll have to bring it back to Kodiak (an island) on a boat and immediately prep it for a 10,000 mile trip from Kodiak, AK to the Outer Banks region of North Carolina towing our medium sized travel trailer.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your order, you'll love it.

Where do you stay on the Outer Banks? We love Whalehead.

That sounds like quite the adventure. Welcome and good luck. I'm wishing the 6.4 had a bigger fuel tank, but you're really going to wish it did.

I like being as far north as I can get. Whalehead is a beautiful area. I also really enjoy Duck and the boardwalk shops/restaurants. I've excited to try a bunch of the campgrounds up and down the Outer Banks too. We'll only be about 45 minutes from the Wright Memorial Bridge. I love crossing that bridge because nothing else in the real world matters while you're on the other side!

You're not kidding!! Crossing the Alcan (Alaska-Canada Highway) is a journey. It is fully paved now which is a huge benefit. I'll be bringing plenty of extra gas with me. I've been looking around for overland bed racks that are compatible with a rolling bed cover and Ram boxes. There a few options, literally just a few. I'd love to hang some rotopax units on it which I could use for the big trip and for the generator we have for the camper.

Welcome and enjoy! Love those MegaCabs. Be sure to post pics when you get it.
Thank you! We are very excited to get the truck. We couldn't pass up the extra space in the Mega Cab with 2 kids and 2 dogs. Ours is a bench seat up front for more seating flexibility too. RAM offered many more options and configurations with 6 passenger seating than the competition which helped make our decision easy.

I'm on the lookout for customer fit floor liners for the Mega Cab with from trench seat. I'm not having much luck. Do you happen to have floor liners or know of someone who makes them?

amen to that brother. I love mine but the tank is too small for the consumption rate of the engine especially under tow. Expect to get around 8 - 9 mpg towing. I still Iove it though !!

We have the Ram floor liners but we don't have the bench seat. My wife has Weather Tech floor liners in her Pacifica that are really good. You can see what they have.
