Dealer instructed me that you lose your carpeted floor mats, but not the carpeting itself.
hopefully he was right.

i just doubt that truck will show up earlier then mid March or even beginning or April. It’s been in D1 for 5 weeks now. Plus I’ll be loosing $1500 rebate, and have to worry about my trade-in value dropping on my current truck as I drive quiet a bit. Everyone is in unknown right now with Rams

I understand ya! There are a million variables that can come into play when ordering a new vehicle.
What is important to you might not be a consideration to someone else. So it is hard to give advice on how to handle your predicament. The thing that raises a question is what does the dealer say about honoring you trade quote? That is an old dealer ploy of giving you a quote when you place the order and change things when it's time to sign the papers.,(especially when they know that you have been itching to pick it up.)
I would feel them out on that one.
If they are not going to honor their original quote you might want to think about walking if you can. The extra miles are due to having to wait on them not because you dragged your feet when was it arrived at the dealership.
A good dealership wouldn't you stiff you like that.

It's funny that you bring it up. Today I was playing around with the Build and PRICE on Ram.com building a Big Horn crew cab and that happened to me also. I added the rubber floor mats and it changed the carpet flooring to rubber.
I would think it is a web site screw up .When you order a rubber floor you aren't given a choice of carpeted floor mats. You automatically get rubber floor mats

This is correct. Bighorns come with carpet by default. You can order the rubber floor mats to go over the carpet, or you can order the carpet delete, which comes with rubberized vinyl floors which come with the rubber mats too for some reason.

Ordered: 12/8, couldn't change it after 12/11 whatever that means.

Projected ship date: 1/21
The FCA site says there are no records associated with the VIN I put in, so I'm waiting on the dealer to send me back a confirmation that I wrote down the correct vin. I'm guessing I just couldn't read my own writing when I copied it to my computer. Based on everyone else's experience I'm anticipating actually getting it between 3/1-3/14(12-14 weeks). I'm not really in a hurry to get it, I would just like to get it before April sometime when camping season starts. I'd rather not pull our Travel trailer in the mountains again with the Excursion(7.3l diesel) that is old enough to vote. Best of luck to all that are waiting!

I just went back into Build and Price and tried building a 2020 Big Horn, when I added the rubber floormats it didn't add the rubber flooring. Looks like a Ram 2021 f-up

Interesting. Your order was put in well after 12/10 when I placed my order. I got my vin a couple days later and it’s much lower than yours with an expected Delivery in February.

They definitely forgot to put your order in!

I did that too prior to being able to build and price a 2021. Like you said, on the 2020's it didn't change the floor coverings. So, it's either a screw up on the 2021 build your truck portion or, it's a change in production for the 2021's which wouldn't make sense because I think having rubber floor coverings make a truck look cheap or totally a "work truck" when all you want to do is have better quality floor mats to protect the interior floors.

Sent you an email, My local Ram dealer hasn’t been beaten by anyone I’ve tried. They are pretty aggressive with pricing.

Got to be it. :) It would be better if they would just give me a reason. Say we ran out of red paint and it is going to take longer, but nope “ I will continue to monitor your vehicle build and prioritize its build thru our system”. It gets old for sure. No news is bad news. If they wanted to keep customers happy information is how you do that.

I see the build sheets and production status codes on the new orders.......did FCA send you the build sheet and where can I find out where my build is at in the process?
Ordered 1/4/21 & VIN issued according to the dealer on 1/8 when he looked so not sure exactly when it was issued.
