2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

It’s the only rail yard that trucks for 400 mile radius come through. I can search trucks 250 miles from that zip via “Find My Truck”/search new dealer stock on the Ram site. The dealer trucks will either be “in transit” or “on dealer lot”. Then you can look at the window sticker and the SL date to see when those trucks were built. I can’t tell how many sold orders are going through that yard though via this method.
Good idea, I don't have anything pending this weekend so guess what I'll be doing...

Is the SL date when it was built or shipped? The highest sequence I could find within 250 miles on the ram site was 540000 with a SL date of 0113. My sequence is 568589 so if that’s the build date I have a long wait yet.

Will the dealer you ordered your truck from refund your down payment?
He said yes because of how long it is taking and he said the way I optioned the truck he won’t have any issues selling it. So other than that only the color matters. Didn’t really want a white truck. If they build mine in the 2 weeks I will keep it if not I am going to look else where. I need the truck for my trip in March. That’s why I ordered it back in October. At least I thought that was a enough time. :)

I ordered mine on 09-23-2020, it's built but it looks like you ordered yours a full month later than I did. Mine was delayed for the bed liner running boards etc for several weeks and finally shipped on 12-18-2020. Keep that in mind in regards to your truck. Depending on when your trip is in the Month of March you "may" have it by then... It's really a judgement call right now, wait and hope you'll get your truck. But, If you delay your decision, you may miss out on having a truck optioned like you want with exception of the color, but at least you'll have a truck and have it NOW. Then there is the chance, depending on options, you could find another truck with the options with a more desirable color... There are several potential choices to make.

I put in my order 12/1/20 for a Delmonico Red 3500 Crew Cab, 6’4 bed SRW Limited fully loaded. 6.7L HO. Received VIN ending in 570407 anxiously waiting. Ram says parts are collected, waiting for sequencing. I am excited! Tentative delivery date week of 3/11/21

Been lurking here for a few months and taking some solace in the fact that others are experiencing the same frustrations I am. I figured I’d add another data point regarding build/shipping delays for others in the same boat. My wife and I ordered a CCSB 2500 Big Horn on 9/05. VIN is quite early, 500365. Window sticker included for config details.

Ordered on 9/05. ETA was 10-12 weeks, so by the first of December (lol).
VIN Assigned/Status Code D: 9/10
D2 Status: 11/19
Build Sheet: 11/23
Window Sticker: 11/27
SL Date: 12/04
Ramp Date quoted by salesman on 12/30: 1/13 (lol)
We're at 19 weeks as of today with no ETA.

As with others, neither the dealer nor RamCares can provide even basic information as to the truck’s whereabouts. No one knows where it is or when it's expected. And, as with others, the incentives/bonus cash offers we’ve received over the last 4+ months have begun to expire. Contacting Ram’s incentives department to see about extending them has been fruitless. Pretty much been told “tough luck”. There’s a Ford dealer nearby with a similarly spec’d 7.3 F-250 on their lot right now. I’m seriously considering writing off the Ram and picking that up instead. Spring is coming up fast and I need to get something soon to supplant the aging pickup fleet on the farm. Should’ve got the Ford a month ago for taxes but had such bad luck with the last one that I didn’t want to go down that road again.

That is a real head scratcher......I don't see anything unusual about what you ordered. Rubber floors?

His is already built. He is just waiting for them to ship it. Since he has a window sticker it should have shipped already.

I know. I am on my third estimated delivery date. They will not tell me why my truck is being held up. I could understand if one of the options I chose is on back order or something, but I have been in D1 status for over 8 weeks now. That white one is really calling my name. I really wanted the red but I could settle for white.
they were suppose to call me Friday with an update. Never received the call. So if nothing by Monday that white truck could become a possibility. :)

Wow, you and I have damn near the same trucks. I have the Level 2 group, running boards and bumper step as well. How did you manage to get the two tone interior. They told me I could only get Black Bucket seats... My vin is 505997. I'm at least lucky enough to know where my truck is. It's awaiting final delivery to dealer. Ordered 9-23-20 shipped 12-18-20. They pushed back my delivery from today to Feb 5th. My dealer's rep and my "Case Worker" at Ram Care are trying to push my delivery through so I get it sooner than the Feb 5th date. I'm over 16 weeks now and the Feb 5th date will put me nearly at 20. Good Luck with locating your truck and hopefully it will get to you soon.

The reality of Big Horn interiors is that you can't escape from black. You can get all black or black with three choices of accent colors light frost , mountain tan or diesel gray. Unlike the Laramie mountain tan/ lt. frost.

Ordered mine same day, dealer is promising delivery date of February 11th and it’s still in D1 status ... Would take my deposit back, since other dealer has 21 limited in stock, but dealer wouldn’t refund it. If it was $500 deposit I would of kinda forgotten about it, but they demanded $2k for deposit to be put down.

You're getting close. Just ride it out , the problem is that you are thinking about it too much. A good way to cut down on that is to stop reading this thread!

i just doubt that truck will show up earlier then mid March or even beginning or April. It’s been in D1 for 5 weeks now. Plus I’ll be loosing $1500 rebate, and have to worry about my trade-in value dropping on my current truck as I drive quiet a bit. Everyone is in unknown right now with Rams

I ordered 10/30 and mine hasn’t even been built yet!! I am looking at late February or early March for delivery. If it is built by the end of next week. So take it all with a grain of salt. The dealers cannot guarantee anything when it comes to delivery. Heck I am on my third estimated delivery date now.

Can anyone confirm this for me please. I ordered the Ram rubber floor mats for my truck. When you go to the Ram Build your truck site, you pick the floor mats and it automatically populates rubber flooring. Does that sound correct? I will not be getting any carpeting in my truck? Is that a change from 2020?

I think the Sport package only comes with the full black interior. I've always preferred a lighter interior color so I went with the Lt Frost Beige/Black. Also didn't like the inconsistency of the beige headliner/pillars on the Diesel Gray/Black '20s I looked at. Looks like they changed that with the '21s. As far as delivery/ETA, I would just be ok with any news so I can plan accordingly to have my finances and schedule sorted out to actually get the thing bought and brought home.

My thoughts exactly. I get that i's a bit of an odd paint/interior combo, but nothing "low-volume" I would think. The rubberized floors are standard on Tradesman trims, so you wouldn't think that would be a source of delay either. The floors were a must have item too, as carpet gets worn out and nasty quickly with our use environment here.

What about trim levels on the Big Horn trucks? Same thing, ordered rubber mats and I assume I'll be getting rubber flooring as well. I'm just not sure.
