2019 ram 2500 received truck with firestone destinations all-terrain but spare tire is fire stone destinations HT. Anybody else I have this same situation, my 1997 ram 3500 Came with all tires matching still have it by the way 180 thousand miles I will probably never sell it.

4x4 Off-Road gets AT. Standard tire is HT. Even on a truck like mine with 20" wheel option + Off-Road, the spare is an 18" with HT. Just standard fare for cost savings. If you do the tire math they are both 33" diameter though to not burn up the clutches in the diff. They aren't exact, but close enough. If I remember right, I have 295/70R20 mains and a 275/75R18 spare. The "70" or "75" is the aspect ratio. Works out to be that its a percentage of the width of the first MM number. So the sidewall ends up being 70% of 275mm and the others are 75% of 295mm. Diameters end up close this way.

Hell yeah they are. A spare polished 20 with an All Terrain vs a non styled ghetto steelie with a smaller, assumingly cheaper tire?

Si.

Are they saving money doing this?
From my understanding they purchase the spare tire and wheel assembles from a separate vendor and install them all before the options wheels get installed so it has no correlation with the optioned wheels

That's quite the claim... as @Epsilon Plus mentioned, my spare is close enough to the diameter that it makes no appreciable difference.
To support your claim, we'd have to find someone whose spare is no where near the same size as their other 4 tires.

Not going to find it. All stock HDs save for maybe duallies ride on 33s regardless of wheels.

The only 2 that run different size tires are 17” tradesman and duallys....

Are the Destination tires an off road package thing?

I’m sorry I meant Transforce AT on truck. Transforce HT for the spare. Off road package is a yes.

I do not have the off road package, but I do have 4x4 and this is the setup on the truck.
