I'm just going off what others have said in this thread that it takes longer getting trucks shipped to the northwest

That's how it's been working at the dealership I went through. Sales rep has to go through the manager that actually orders the trucks and has access to that system.

It really shouldn't take longer since they're putting them on a ship and coming through California to avoid a border crossing.

I just ordered my new Limited 2500 mega cab today thinking I’d have it in time for our trailer delivery date of May 1st but based on what I’m seeing here that might be optimistic

You should have it before may 1st. Guys that ordered early seem to have a bit longer delay. It’s 12-14 weeks out!

Wonder if its because the early order guys had to wait for the 2020s to be finished first before theirs started.

Completed my order for a ‘21 Limited 2500 Mega on 1/2. Received vin a few days later with an estimated delivery date of 3/5. It may change of course but to Krlowry’s point I believe timing is picking up as it was slowed for the guys who still had their ‘20 orders backed up due to Covid. Have seen several guys get their ‘21 builds recently right around the 8 week mark.

Spoke to my dealer my truck is at a train yard in my state with one more stop before it gets to the lot where it gets to dealer by truck. Got excited thinking I might get it soon.

Then He told me he had another ordered vehicle arrive at that lot on 12/2 that is still not at the dealership so it has been sitting in that lot for 5-6 weeks.

He told me to expect my truck the first week of February. That would be 21 weeks total, or over 5 months. Crazy.

I feel for you. I ordered on Sept 4 and have been told (by the dealer and Ram Cares) the truck has shipped. I just received an ETA of Jan 17-31st, I have my fingers crossed, however I not sure I trust the dates. I fear that the truck gets stuck in some train yard like yours.

I can get no straight answers from FCA. They have no projected build date for mine although it has been in D1 status for over 8 weeks. Give me a break. They know when they will start building my truck at least down to a couple day window. You would think that giving customers information like that on a truck that they have already put money down on would be good customer service. Nope. It even got escalated. Now I get weekly emails from a desk jockey saying that he is prioritizing my build and will get back to me very shortly with anticipated dates. that has been going on for 5 weeks as of today. This whole system is a JOKE. I can track a $2 item on Amazon better than I can track a $86,000 dollar truck. Wish they would at least bring the VOTS back. So we wouldn't have to waste time on the phone or in a chat with some who is more worried about congratulating me on my truck purchase than helping me find out any data that is actually useful. @RamCares Do you have any help on these situations. Just thought I wouldn't leave any stone unturned.

2 1/2 months is a long time without a build date, looks like yours is on the long schedule. I was a couple of days shy of 3 months to get the build date and window sticker. Fingers are crossed for things to pick up for you.
