If you are going to have the dealer do it, there are actually 3 sales codes you need- LEB, LEC, and LEG (for flip up mirror correction of the adjuster switch).Shoeman, good to know you got the results you were looking for! I am not looking for power folding, I just want oem tow mirrors with power adjustability, heat and the puddle/turn signal lights to work. Hoping with Jimmy's expert advice this will work out for my truck. I will report the findings after my dealer appointment for flashing on Monday.
SLR, my understanding is that the temp sensor is on the driver side. I had about 485.00 in my kit including sales tax. I'm certainly hoping the wire location change works, and there is not another hidden change made from '18-prior to '19 and up. If so I may go your route with individual pieces.Yarnellm,
Thanks, they look the same as what I put on mine with 2020 part numbers. Temperature sensor is on the driver side, correct? If so, hopefully your wire swap goes smooth and easy. That kit you bought was about $50 less than the individual parts I bought.

Jimmy, excuse my ignorance what are these door modules you speak of ? Do you have the part numbers? You also need the door modules, because your current ones are not capable of power fold, and the master driver side door switch that has the power fold button. You will have to use AlfaOBD to enable the power fold feature. Do not go through infotainment to get the kit, unless you like spending more money than you have to. Just get the individual parts from a mopar supplier, such as bamwholesale. You’ll probably have good luck sourcing everything from car-part from wrecked trucks.
The door modules are the computers in the front doors. The mirrors (and other door parts) plug into them, and they are what control the features. For power fold, the driver side door module is 68374091AF, and for passenger side 68374090AFJimmy, excuse my ignorance what are these door modules you speak of ? Do you have the part numbers?

thank you, I'll follow up on my success / failure with mine and let you know if I need the 2019 part numbers.I paid about $460 before sales tax for the 2020 parts. If you need the part #'s, let me know.
SLR, just a thought since you also have not added the sales codes. Does your power adjust work, and does the outside temp display correctly? I am going to make the pin wiring changes this evening and would like to know if these functions should work. thanks!Yarnellm, yes, there's a mirror part # specific to your truck (the ones I put on mine as well, unless you want to add power fold or chrome trim on them). For mine, I bought the individual parts needed. Your earlier model part # shows as a kit with all parts included, which Mopar doesn't currently offer for a '19-20.
Like Jimmy07 said though, it may be easier to just swap out pins in the mirror harness connectors if the door modules are compatible.
Out of curiosity, could you post a picture of how the mirrors look / fit on your truck door? I'm curious how they compare to the '19-20 ones I put on mine, wondering if the only difference is the wiring harness pin out. If that's the only difference and it can be overcome, it may be a great way to have tow mirrors available under one part #.
Yep, outside temp shows in the display and all works as it did before with the standard mirrors, no errors shown.SLR, just a thought since you also have not added the sales codes. Thank you. I re-pinned my drivers side plugs this evening and all functions work fine! Moved to the passenger side and some wire colors are different and there are two more wires than the driver side had. I started to re-pin and lost my place. Going to try to catch zJimmy tomorrow and maybe he can help me out again!Yep, outside temp shows in the display and all works as it did before with the standard mirrors, no errors shown.
My OBDLink showed up today and I'm just waiting on the bypass cable to arrive so I can get my signal lights on.
Jimmy, I am in a bit of a predicament. I re-pinned the driver side mirror and all three functions work correctly (heat, adjust and ambient temp). I moved to the passenger side and started the re-pinning when I realized a few wire colors are different from the driver side. I incorrectly assumed that the wire colors would be the same, and lost my place. Do you happen to have the wire colors in the original pin positions or a way to identify the individual wires? I don't want to plug in to the module until I am certain the configuration is correct, going by your chart. Thanks much! Here’s how you would rearrange the wires. The left column refers to the tow mirrors you have, so substitute that for when it references GM style mirror. The list represents all possible circuits, so if you don’t have a particular wire from the list, just skip it.![]()
This is how the mirror connector covers are removed, and shows the identifying numbers for the wire positions-![]()
I suggest you write down all the current wire colors, and where they are at currently, in case something gets mixed up when you move wires, we can start from scratch.
First color is the wire color. Second color is the stripe. Passenger tow mirror white connector:Jimmy, I am in a bit of a predicament. Jimmy, thank you so much. Wasn't sur how I was going to get out of this one!First color is the wire color. Second color is the stripe. Passenger tow mirror white connector:
1- dark blue/red
2- black/tan
3- no wire
4- no wire
5- no wire
6- brown **
7- dark blue
8- brown/green
9- gray/black
10- dark green/red
Passenger tow mirror black connector:
1- brown
2- purple
3- black **
4- black **
5- no wire
6- gray
7- purple/blue
8- brown/orange
9- black/gray
10- black **
**Note there are three black wires, and two brown wires.
The brown wire that goes in white connector position 6 is smaller gauge than the wire that goes into black connector position 1
The two black wires that go into black connector positions 3&4 are larger gauge than the black wire that goes into black connector position 10
It doesn’t matter which of the two larger black wires go into positions 3&4

I am happy to report that my installation of the 2018-prior tow mirror kit on my 2019 is successful too! All functions are 100%. In hindsight I would order the 2019 tow mirrors piece by piece though, to avoid the stress of re-pinning the plugs though! A HUGE shout out to Jimmy for hos instructions on re-pinning. I would be SOL without his excellent help!!The security gateway bypass harness arrived yesterday and I installed it this Sunday afternoon along with the MX+ and Alfa App on my phone. Though it took a couple minutes to get the lay of the land, I'm happy to say I now have tow mirror turn signals, puddle lights, and proper adjustment switch function after flipping the mirrors up. For good measure, I changed my daytime running lights over from the low beams to the turn signals while there also.
Thanks to those on this board for enlightening me about AlfaOBD and the parts to make it work, much appreciated! View attachment 10716
