Anyone tried using and installing the ProCal Snap on 2019+ ? They confirmed to work on all but PW.
Instructions pretty simple but when I tried to pair it to mine the moment I plug in the device to OBD I get message on the dash to go to dealer "blindspot detection failure". As soon as I remove the device it clears.

AEV told me to try a different location on the star connectors so just curious if anyone else has tried it. I have it to change the tires size and pressure thresholds and don't plan on anything else which is why I didn't go the AlfaODB path.

I originally put mine on the wrong star connector and it did a whole lot of weird stuff. Turns out there was two sets on my tradesmen, the block of them a little more tucked in and closer to my left leg did the trick.

buddy did the same.

Looks like i will move mine also then. There are two sets of star connectors so will use the furthest one

Use the one that is tucked up tightest to the inside of the dash, I didn’t even see that one at first, it is a little harder to get to than the one you see initially when getting under there.

I also had weird issues at first. I moved my plug and that didn’t fix the problem all the way.

I had my audio display in the gauge cluster hidden and I didn’t realize that until I got to the troubleshooting step (after having issues) This audio page is critical for using the procal

I had every check engine light possible and no speedometer

once I pulled up my audio page and got the connector right, I reset to factory with the procal to clear my lights. Then everything worked perfectly.

So I got it corrected today, I had the exact same effect as you. I moved the connection to a different position, got it paired but as soon as I changed the tire pressure every failure possible came on. A quick call to AEV and re-ran the steps and everything came back to normal, cleared the DTC just to clear the light but all other errors gone.
Set tire size and TPMS perfectly

So, I did mine today and got the same problem. All the error codes and no speed. Tried it again and when I saw the BRAKE light blink, I let off the brake and RES+ button. This time the horn beeped and most faults cleared and I got back the speedometer. Still have a check engine light and electronic throttle control light. Any ideas why?

If you scroll through the audio screen on the cluster and verify that your tire size has been set, then the sync and procal worked.

You can clear DTCs with the procal, I would try that first.

If that doesn’t work, try a drive cycle maybe 20 minutes or so, assuming it’s driving safely.

third thing I would try would be disconnecting the battery for a while so the vehicle goes back through its diag.

obviously I would reach out to AEV as well, but back when i did mine, I was able to get mine sorted out on Saturday before I talked to them on Monday

yes as was said above just drive around. they will clear. Happened to my buddy and they said takes a couple drive cycles. I think he said it had cleared after a a short drive around town

Thanks for the advice. I reached out to AEV during my lunch break and they stated the exact same thing. 1) Try to clear the DTC’s with the ProCal. 2) Drive the truck a few times and it should clear on it’s own. I’ll try it tonight.

Cleared the DTC’s with ProCal and all faults gone. Worked perfect. Thanks!
