What did you do TO your RAM today?

I didn’t know this could be retrofitted...care to elaborate on the cost, parts needed, process, etc???
I have to replace all the handles on my truck because they don't make passive entry handles in flat black (that's the color I had from factory). My truck is granite crystal metallic. I bought wiring harness from forum member Jimmy. He makes custom harnesses. All together it cost me about $500 for parts. Here is the thread https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/adding-passive-entry-how-to.22274/ post #9 is for HD trucks.

OEM 220amp alternator installed on my Power Wagon. This thing produces way more power at idle than the 180amp, should help keep the battery voltage up when winching.
When winching, my truck idles up automatically when it senses the electrical load. Engine speed drops back down when the winch stops. 6.4 gas power plant. I’m not quick enough to see what the engine speed goes up to. Thanks for the pulley ratio and output chart. At 1000rpm engine speed the alt will be nearly 3000rpm with a 2.9:1 pulley.

Gave truck a good rinse as its in 50s today. Installed 2 rear and 2 side floods to help with trailer/ truck loading. There all just amazon cheapies but cast a lot of light. Used the blunt cut wire with jumper into a aux sw. Also alpaodb'd my fog lights to stay on with highbeams, turned off panic, changed my tpms pressure. Been trying to get signature lights off but so far it hasnt taken, try more tomorrow. Sorry for crummy phone pics...

Should of added for rear lights i just made some simple 7" brackets and mounted them to bumper mount bolts, makes rear lights pretty much flush. 2 frame lights i just put thru hole in cab mount brackets.

Yes mine does this as well, I think it idled up to maybe 1500rpm or so, but it was not keeping up with the electrical load from the winch, as the voltage was dropped below 12V. The Warn Zeon 12-S can pull up to 470amps at full load...

Thanks for the info. I have an M12s, probably pulls a similar load. Do you have to do anything to the truck computer or just swap the alternator in?
