My 3500 made it from the factory to St Louis area (Centerville, IL) in less then a week but now has been sitting there just a few hours away from me for almost 2 weeks...... :( My sticker says 12/18 on it and it was in Centerville, IL by 12-23. I thought maybe I was gonna have a Christmas present....but nope! RAM chat says delivered by the 8th but dealer doesn't want to commit to that.

Wow, that was fast. I'm starting to think that build date is really determined by a big ping pong ball hopper.

It's pretty much the same as far as packages. Some overlap but overall it's basically the same package codes / options I gave my dealer and it came out perfect.
 
Ordered on 9/24 a 2500 Laramie CC diesel with most all options. I've have been told a different build/delivery date every time I contact Ram Chat. So, now Ram Chat contacts me weekly with updates but as of yesterday my truck hasn't been built. Latest email from Ram Chat:
I am reaching out to inform you that the vehicle status is still in the scheduling phase. I sent a message out to confirm the situation, and further prioritize the vehicle build.

There is currently no ETA window as of right now for it to be built. I will continue to monitor the situation, and provide you updates, until it were to arrive at the dealership.

Stopped by my dealership yesterday and they have a possible ship date of 01/11. Good luck with that! What it comes down to is I need my truck and it hasn't/won't come in a reasonable time imo.

Ordered 9/24 with a possible ship date of 9/11? Over a year to turn a truck around? I assume that’s a typo, but at this point I wouldn’t be surprised.
 
Spoke to my dealer yesterday, I ordered 12/10 and he said it should be arriving early February. We shall see, my hope are late February - Mid March.

I'm going to give it 5 months total for them to produce my truck. If I don't take possession by then I'm going to walk away from the deal

You're much more patient than I am! If I don't have a rig this spring to pull my travel trailer, I'm going to be very disappointed. That's one of the few things that helped to keep me sane last year and I've already sold the old Ford.

I am in the same boat. Sold my 2003 3500 the day after ordering the 2021. I am planning a trip in April and the Honda sure won't pull the fiver.

I am waiting in Oregon also. Was notified yesterday that it is KZ status and told eta of somewhere between Jan 18th and Feb 1st. The truck was built about a month ago. I know I have said this before but what takes so long after truck build to get to dealer. Shipping looks like six weeks to about two months. I ordered in October nothing special do not expect to actually get your truck from dealer for about four months. Last Ram I ordered eight weeks three days. So disappointed Dealers have new 2021's in and I ordered as soon as dealer said he could put in new 2021 Model order. Who knows?
 
There are very few 21s on lots right now and most are tradesman ..not sure what the hold up is seems accessories and shipping take longer then getting it built.. some of us have been waiting since sept.. I'm at 14 weeks and counting now.. last truck I ordered was in 99 came in 5week but they were building the hds in st louis back then..
 
I had my vin also in 2 days, dealer also told me 8 to 10 weeks.. I'm on week 14.. I wouldn't rely to much on what the dealer says.. I think more depends on what extras are being put on it

Maybe our trucks will be riding on the rail together? At least I'm hoping that it doesn't sit in the yard for a month before being loaded and sent up north. I really am not excited about the prospect of waiting until end of February for delivery.

I just spoke with Ram Care and they indicated an ETA window to the dealer lot of 1/25 through 2/8. When I asked for a shipping status code they said they don't have anything other than the ETA. Maybe I need to get that through the dealer?
