When do ya'll change the oil. based on mileage or the % of oil life left on the computer?

combination of both. never more than 5000 miles for me and maybe down to 30% on computer. I know some say it is wasting money but It makes me feel warm and fuzzy so I will keep on wasting money.

6.4 Gasser, but I wasn't asking for a certain mileage of when to change. I was asking if the majority goes with their mileage recommendation or what the computer tells them for oil life percentage.

I'm curious what all is being done for that? It seems more than just engine oil and filter.
Thanks!

Both fuel filters 100$ ish each
Oil 150$
Oil filter 20Ish$

plus tax and the good ol canadian dollar screwing us here in the north

When the oil meter says 25% remaining, I change it. PepBoys changed the oil in my last diesel for $20 more than it cost me for the oil and filter. They use the Shell Rotilla that I ask for and all is well.

Which is why I buy filters online from dealers or MOPAR distribution places for much less than the dealer prices.
