2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Hit rail yard 12/25; delivered to dealer 12/31; I will pick up 1/2. Almost 12 weeks total from order to delivery.
Nice, I am at 10 weeks but still waiting at shipping. Does anyone have a link to that 1500 cash allowance coupon my is going to expire before my truck gets here.

Taxes are taxes nothing you can do and they vary greatly based on locale.

My title fee was $25. That's all it costs the dealer to process tags. State got their pound (more like 5 pounds) of flesh after that to register.

You should be getting 10-12% off the MSRP on the deal before TTL
The price they quoted on the build sheet is right at 8% off msrp. What ever incentives/rebates at time of delivery are to be determined when truck arrives. if its $1500 that puts the price @ 10.3% off . Ram
I'll have them itemize "fees" on Monday and make a decision.
The dealership is located in town so thhere is no travel costs involved. I've purchsed vehicles out of state before, the time and cost involved to travel is something to take into consideration.

My towing capacity and payload showed up on the website 2 days ago but still no window sticker. Anyone else experience something similar?

What did you order, I am interested in your payload numbers. I saw one 2020, 3500 HO 8' bed 4x4 CC well equipped only had payload of 3720. That's not enough for me need at least 500 more for TC.

My payload showed up as well this morning for a very similar build just with DRW and my payload is 4834.

Got a called yesterday from my dealer saying my Limited 3500 is in. Does anyone have the link for the $1500. cash allowance coupon? It’s been 13 weeks from the time I ordered it.

I don't think there is an actual link (I may be wrong) but I just kept randomly refreshing ramtrucks.com and was able to get a popup that allowed me to sign up for one a few days ago.

I have been trying for days to get another one and can’t get the pop up. Mine expires on 1/23 and my ETA is 1/25-2/8 (ordered on 9/8).

My sticker came a few days after the towing populated. You should be soon!

Well, after reading some of the posts, I'm a little torn on what to do. Background: I've been in the market for a while for a HD Gasser, and concluded that I wanted to build it to get exactly what i wanted. I submitted my order with the dealer on 11 Dec, got the VIN 12 Dec, I'm guessing end of Feb/Early March arrival.

However, the dealer i ordered from was only willing to come down $295 off invoice price...I did my best to get them to come down the entire Hold Back price too ($1,795), but they wouldn't budge on that. (I'll get $500 military incentive, but I'm sure the $1500 cash back will expire before my truck arrives).

That all said, I just found a HD Gasser available on a different dealers lot...its very close to what I want (its missing the Mega Cab, Towing Tech, Adaptive Cruise, & Axle ratio), but it's priced very well with the national incentives: MSRP $60,060...with national incentives its $51,720 (13% off MSRP)...the dealer isn't willing to throw in any additional dealer coupons to get the price down further.

Thoughts on if I should just wait on my truck build?(what I'm leaning on) Or go with the truck that's in stock at a different dealer for a better deal?

Sorry for the long post, Attached is my build sheet, TIA

Stick with your order. If not you will second guess it until you trade or sell the truck. You ordered exactly what you wanted. Stick with it.

You are just under 7% off MSRP and the average is 7%. Unless your willing to find another dealer to order another truck and give you a better deal AND wait longer, your best to stick with what you have. Don't buy something you don't love just to save a few bucks.

I would contact 4 or 5 dealers with the exact build you want and let them k ow that’s what you are doing and whoever makes the best offer will get the sale. Mine wait will probably be 20 weeks and it is frustrating but in the end it will be worth it because I will have exactly what I want and I will have not paid extra money for features/upgrades I don’t want or need.

How did you look that information up, is you truck a HO we have very similar builds.

I have been following this forum a while now. I usually don't post on forums but since I look at this one a couple times a week I thought I would throw in my build and timing to add to growing data set here.
Ordered a 2021 Ram 2500 Longhorn, Mega Cab, Level 1, Protection Group, engine block heater, dual alternators, LT285/60R20E.
Ordered placed on 4 Sept 2020 (VON received 8 Sept 2020). I was given an estimated 12-14 weeks until I could take delivery
Window Sticker populated on 28 Nov 2020
I was given several Estimated Shipping dates (18 Nov 2020, 20 Nov 2020, 3 Dec 2020) and according to Dealer and RAM Chat as of Monday (28 Dec) it has still not shipped, "your vehicle order status is still in the shipment phase. There is currently no ETA window for it to arrive at the dealership."
I was also told shipping to So Cal is 4-5 weeks, so if I am lucky maybe I can take delivery in Feb. which would put me at 22 weeks if it ships next week. Finger's crossed that I get it before the $1500 bonus cash expires
I have heard that shipping is a black hole and that all dates are only estimates due to logistical nightmares but I would really love to understand why some "Sold Orders" ship significantly quicker than others. If there was a reason even if it is a bad reason it would help keep the frustrations at bay. You would think all sold orders would get some sort of priority when it comes to getting on a train. I'm just thoroughly confused at this point

If you follow this link and then click on the "Look Up My Vehicle" link (See attached Image), it will give you the option to enter your VIN.
