I don't go on long hauls much, but recently I took about a 700 mile trip to pick up a tractor for a friend of mine. Twice we both smelled something inside the cab at highway speed that smelled like burning rubber. Was this likely a regen? Normally when I smell a regen it's when I'm getting out of the truck. Is a regen odor usually noticeable inside the cab at highway speeds? thanks

It's very possible. We only noticed it twice during the whole trip. Honestly it could have been anything but it was strong enough to be very noticeable.

There’s stickers on the exhaust from the factory. There’s one on the downpipe by the turbo. Couple past that. Once they melt away the odor is pretty much eliminated. If you have your evic screen on DPF soot load it will notify you when it’s in regen. Approx every 24hrs of engine operation.
