So bought my 3500 in Colorado, it doesn’t have any roof clearance lights. Something I want later on. I’m reading Texas requirements, and I don’t think I have any issues. Only using for personal, but I do plan to take trailer through other states. Will I run into a lighting requirement issue?
2020 4x4 3500 SRW.

Clearance lights are not required in pickups thats why they don't have them stock typically anything you tow that is over the required hight will have the clearance markers anyway

AFAIK Texas wouldn’t have any special rules requiring clearance Lights... it’s a DOT requirement on vehicles beyond a certain width/height(duallies for example)... but since the SRW doesn’t exceed those limits it doesn’t come standard.
I like the way they look on my Power Wagon but no way would I drill holes in my roof to add them if it didn’t come like that from the factory. Just More points for water ingress and/or rust.
