I just know my new 2019 2500 blew a bag and only have 1560 miles.
So, it appears the airbags don't like hard winters or harsh summers. LOL.

No kidding. The air bags don't like bumpy roads and being overloaded. LOL.
So, it was a harsh summer for HOFF.

Harsh summer, over loaded and very bad bump which recently caused an 18 wheeler to hit and jack knived killing someone in same area. I blame very bad roads, and over weight. However payload on mine was only 1700 for a 2500 seems very low!!

Its a great system when used properly. Mine is on a 3500 SRW that has the helper springs and it works well in keeping the truck stable while towing. I had mine with over 7K on the rear axle with no issues. When the roads are rough you have to watch your speed as when you do hit a bump you are putting much more strain on the system than whats on the rear axle. I would definitely order it again if I were ordering another new truck. This system or a type thereof has been used on tractor trailers for over 20 years.
