I've had a good experience so far.
They will negotiate a build %off MSRP ignoring incentives and rebates... But you'll get whatever is available upon delivery. Which is pretty standard given the variability of build times.

I'm in the same situation with the 1500 ram "special offer"
Got it.. After.. I ordered my build but it will expire before I can take delivery. :rolleyes:
 
So im headed on saturday to purchase a 2020 2500 cummins! Just reading here a bit I saw you guys talking about the $1500 ram cash from their site. Is it confirmed to stack with the employee pricing event? If so thats great news and ill be at like 18% off for my purchase.

I checked the fine print on the $1500 cash offer, as well as the employee pricing plus offer, and did not see anything which prohibited stacking. You can always call FCA to confirm if your dealer pushes back when you ask for the offer to be applied.

That's how much of an emergency this was. A global automaker does not spend that kind of money and effort on a band-aid fix to cross the MY finish line. Enough with this 5%-7% failure crap. Those numbers are from additive MFGs.

The 19-20 Asym CP4 was a big enough problem that they crammed out an emergency fix with no official documentation on WHY right before scrapping the whole design, that's all you need to know about how bad this was for them.

FCA doesn't have a leg to stand on for denials anymore for anyone who actually puts up a fight. Now the big question of whether they bastard year the 19-mid20s or do the right thing and get them sorted out. It's up to us who spent big money on these trucks in 19-20 to not let this die down and just go away or they will have much less motivation. IF they do the right thing, it will go a very long way in the enthusiast community for reputation. It's a way for people to point to a fact on why their favorite brand is better compared to the status quo of Ford/GM in doing the "sucks for you" route.

Appreciate the heads up! Ill probably go through with the deal as the amount of uproar there seems to be should warrant a recall to fix it at some point. And ill have 5 years of warranty to get to that point. Might be an inconvenience, but ill taken the gamble.
 
Picked up my truck last week from Dennis Dillon. Not impressed with the service. What should have taken two hours max, took over 6 hours because of them being completely disorganized and "short handed". The Assistant Manager was an absolute slime ball. They actually sold a truck from underneath a couple with a small child that had been waiting hours also. If we didn't have a deposit down we would have walked out after witnessing the whole thing. Here are the final numbers.

2020 or 2021? Great price, but sucks to hear they treat their customers that way.

Purchased my 2020 Ram 2500 Crew Cab Tradesman 6.4 Hemi about a month ago.
MSRP was $47,300
Final Price was $42,900
Roughly 9% off.
After tax, tag fees, dealer fees (Florida dealer fees suck) $46, 616.
The dealer also added window tint, bedliner, paint protection, mopar valve stem caps to the deal and delivered it to my house. Everything was done online.

Victory CDJR of Ottawa. Finance guy tried to slip in a $1500 extra charge for "ELO GPS 3 YEAR" and when I called him on it he claimed he forgot to add the Ram $1500 Coupon. I have both finance sheets, they both have the rebate on them, but the first one has that ELO GPS **** on it. He immediately threw the papers in the shredder lock box and he had to get them out for me later. Dont get rushed into signing ****, they WILL try to slip **** in. We drove 3.5 hours to pick up this truck, so we were wanting to get out of there fast so we could make the return trip, glad I took my time to go through the papers.

I would have given this dealership 5 Stars, but its funny how a finance guy can completely sour your taste for the process.
