The air suspension is great for bumper or 5th wheel application! Not sure why anyone would tell you that!

I agree on both applications. The thinking was One, only will lift 4000 lb. Two, the tall campers seem to sway more up on the air. Three, they take out one leaf on the spring pack when you get factory air. Lastly when you get factory air it is not adjustable from side to side. If I decide to get air bags I can do it for half the factory cost and have them rated to 5000lb with each independent adjustment.

I was told by dealer Monday my truck will be waiting for shipping until January 9th. My truck was finished last Tuesday. I don't know why it would be sitting in yard for two or three week.
I spoke to RAM chat yesterday I was told the vehicle is in the shipping process and there will be no further updates (and no ETA) until it arrives at the dealer. I asked if shipping process means it could still be at the factory still and I was told it could be.

Okay, It just seems inefficient to let trucks sit at factory for that long. I wonder how long after getting on train in Mexico it takes to get to Portland Oregon. I don't live in Portland (Thank God) but that is where they go before dealers lot.

This is a good read about shipping automobiles on trains and why it takes so long Vehicles delivered by Trains

I got my window sticker on 11/29 (assumed it shipped that day) arrived at dealer on 12/21. 2 days over 3 weeks for shipping.

Mine supposedly shipped on Tuesday the 22nd of December. FCA called today and said my "projected" delivery date is between Jan 13th and the 27th... And I thought Snail Mail was slow.

I too am curious about shipping to Portland. My VIN is available but no word on shipping.

yeah.. finally.. got a text this morning.. my truck is at the Orlando rail yard.. they hope to have it Monday. They are going to call me when it hits the dealership, even before it goes through PDI.
