2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Larson,

That's hilarious! Yeah, I went for the 8' box when I saw the 50 gal diesel tank was a 300 dollar upgrade. Can't add extra fuel capacity aftermarket for that price. As for Payload, I'm at 4320 with a 12,300 GVWR and a 25,090 towing capacity.
Ok thanks for the info . Those numbers sound correct. I have a 2003 Ram 2500 diesel that is the same color 255,000 miles on it. I figured if it was a good color then it is still good. I plan on putting a camper on the new truck after I recover from the shock of spending that kinda money. The camper is around 3600lb + 300lb tongue wt for boat trailer. I think the new truck can handle the weigjt fine.

You should be fine, well within spec. Might wanna budget for air bags to supplement and smooth out the ride under load. Unless you speced the air-leveling suspension

it means the truck completed final inspection and it's been released to the shipper. It's probably being loaded on to the train along with other trucks that are hearing to your region today or tomorrow. Also, the dealer has been invoiced for the trunk.

Shortly after my sticker came up my dealer emailed me and said it was “gate-out” at the factory. I looked up that term which means it was transferred to person picking up the container. However I don’t have an ETA. I am hoping it was shipped since the plant, according to this forum will shut down through the 4th of January.

I read that on here also, but when I talked to Ram Chat yesterday they made no mention when I talked them. They made it sound like it was business as usual. But I didn’t directly ask the question...

They always anounce plants are shutting down for Christmas that doesn't mean they are.. at least thats what they do here.. we have production running here and my plant is shut down .. it all depends on demand.

Blue,

FCA does not have a 'tracking' website. Not even in this covid day & age. The ONLY way I've gotten any info was by calling my Salesman. I do it every Monday. RAM Chat is also helpful, but the selling dealer has the most accurate updated info, and it ain't much. My Ramp Date, which is the date the dealer expects the truck on thier lot, has changed three times from FCA in the last week. Really stupid in this digital age that we can't easily track our truck build, but it is what it is.
Thanks, I've been seeing posts were people are getting copies of their window stickers and haven't received their truck yet and thought they were pulling it up off of the FCA website or something...

If you have your VIN you can go to this site and look up your Window sticker once it's built and ready to ship https://www.ramtrucks.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=XXX Just change the XXX to your in and go here for your Build sheet - https://www.ramtrucks.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=XXXX

Yes, as posted you can get your build sheet and VIN, but as I recall your prior post seemed to indicate an expectation that you could get status updates. That sort of updates and tracking info isn't available to us plebes.

2021 3500 HO Laramie Crew Cab
Order Date: 12/10
Got my VIN yesterday - Status D1
I'm confused how you were able to get a window sticker less than two weeks after ordering where I ordered in the beginning of October and still.habe no window sticker? Just my luck I guess.

Indeed. The build sequencing is rather confusing. Still no window sticker for my 9/29 order. My build sheet was available on 12/7. Being told that it is waiting on vendor installed equipment and final inspection. They can not give me a date that it will be complete or an estimated ship or arrival date.

Where did you see window sticker?

VIN ≠ Monroney (window) sticker.

I think some of you need to review this sticky:

You can get your (Monroney) window sticker here (add your VIN to the end) once it's KZ-L or KZ-M: https://www.chrysler.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=

I was told not to go with factory air if putting a camper on. I think I will see how it sits and how it feels driving. I may try stabileloads first and then a rear sway bar. I don't know why no rear sway bar?

I was told by dealer Monday my truck will be waiting for shipping until January 9th. My truck was finished last Tuesday. I don't know why it would be sitting in yard for two or three week.

The air suspension is great for bumper or 5th wheel application! Not sure why anyone would tell you that!

Just the build sheet, I do not have a window sticker yet and I cannot check payload. I should note, my ram dealer is also family.
