EDIT: After searching again I see a couple threads about people having similar issues. My issues seem to only be in the first 5 minutes of starting the truck because it normalizes after that. This is my 6th Ram since 2001, and I had a 19 F250 in between. None of them have had a climate control issue until this one, which just so happens to be the most expensive truck I've ever owned. (01 1500, 02 1500, 07 1500, 12 1500, 15 2500, 19 F250)
I've got a 2019 2500 Mega with 8500 miles. It cools and heats just fine - it's when it decides to heat and cool that is the problem.
With the climate control set to 70 and Auto -
I can get in on a 65 degree day, and the heat comes on for about 5 minutes, then it changes to the AC. The inverse happens sometimes though, it's 40 degrees outside, I get in and the AC is blasting for a minute or 2, then the heat comes on.
Another thing that happens is it likes to switch to floor/defrost on its own quite often, instead of just staying on the normal + floor.
Does anyone else notice these oddities? Ive seen plenty of people say the AC can't keep up, but mine definitely does.
