2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Was this email the result of an inquiry, or do you get regular automatic emails? I'm trying to establish if anyone is getting automated emails and if so how they got on this mailing system.

Paul,

It was a result of an email I sent via RAM Chat late last Friday. If I don’t call the dealer or initiate contact with RAM, I’d have no info whatsoever.

Ordered on 9/14 Laramie Cummins 2500 no bed liner or accessories and ramp delivery of 1/5 Denver area so about 17 weeks.

Let's not be selfish about it. Post it so we all can see!
I spoke with the dealer this afternoon, his FCA rep told him it's scheduled for delivery on January 8th. I'm planning for a week after that.

Here's the interesting thing, he said the Truck is being shipped by rail from Saltillo Mexico to SHAP (Sterling Heights Assembly Plant) FCA has an Intermodal at the North end of the plant and they mix RAM vehicles for the region there. From there it's sent with other HD's 1500's and ProMasters to the FCA marshaling center in Detroit and then sent to the dealer in Walled Lake. So I went on google earth and sure enough you can see HD's Promasters and 1500 in the intermodal at the north end of SHAP.

Window sticker attached.

Do you happen to know the name of the parking lot in chicago where they unload the rail cars before they are loaded onto transports for the final destination?

Ordered 9/27 dealer just called today and said the truck will be at the dealership today. I can take delivery tomorrow...just over 12 weeks.
Where are you from? That's actually pretty quick. I ordered 2 days after you and mine still hasn't shipped.

I'm not sure, looks like Chicago has several Intermodal facilities. There is a giant BNSF one in Logistics Park at

Don't forget when you take pics be sure to include doors open shots of the interior. That is one sweet setup! Can't wait to see it!
