This is more of a progress report, I have much left to do. The bumper is a Steelcraft Fortis. Texture is mild, pretty smooth actually so should be easy to clean.
I love the look. Aggressive but not over-the-top transformer thingy.
Build quality is top notch, the factory bumper is a beer can compared to this thing. Mounting plates were ⅜” steel, the boxed inserts for the lights are ¼” steel and the bumper itself measured just over .225” in thickness so I guess that is 6 gauge+.
Removal of the factory bumper was a bitch. I had the help of two employees and a forklift and it was still a struggle getting those tow hook bolts cracked loose.
The outer lights will be Diode Dynamic fogs, the inside lights will either be amber fogs or just spots to match the 20” double row led light bar in the center. I still need to trim the fender well plastics and of course a lot of wiring to do.
I will post a follow up once it’s completed. I also have the matching rear bumper on order already.

Thanks for answering my questions in your other post. How much further out do you think the bumper sits than the factory one? I have limited garage room. Also do you by chance have a side shot picture? Thanks and once again looks great!

That's the best looking aftermarket bumper I've seen. Nice job!

It does not add much length at all. The D-ring probably is the only thing affecting the OAL.
From the face of the letter A in RAM to center face of bumper is 3.750”
The D-ring adds an additional 2.500”
I can take some better side shots tomorrow. Let me know if you need more specific dimensions.

Great thanks! So 6.5" from grille would be safe? I was looking at the rear bumper on Steel Craft website and its listed for 2010-2018. Did you receive yours yet to confirm fitment? Nice find, thanks again.

New design change is supposedly already revised and is in production. Shipping should start within weeks I was told by two sources including Steelcraft. The 2018 will work with some modification to part of the center plate that meets the hitch. I’m awaiting the revised version.
