Just would like to say hello as a new HD RAM owner and a new HDRAM forum member. I have owned my 1989 1st gen D250 since 2012. Bought it with 77,000 original miles. Currently has 135,00 miles. Have towed numerous rv's with this 5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel locomotive! The 1st being a 8,500 pound 2012 37 ft. Puma Unleashed toy hauler. Towing through the mountains of North Carolina ( Black Mountain to be specific ) the 1st time we hauled our new camper out! Talk about rolling coal!!!!! The Grey Ghost was retired this year but never going to sell to make room for my brand new 36 miles on the odometer 1 year leftover 2019 RAM HD 2500 Laramie Longhorn retirement 1st in class in towing, 1st in class with the most advanced drivetrain 850 ft lbs of torque 6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel 68RFE 6 speed automatic transmission, and last but not least the most luxurious pick up truck interior in the world!!!!! I am 59 and hopefully retired @ 60 next year. I have never owned a brand new vehicle or a 4 wheel drive truck in my life! Let alone the most advanced RAM, mechanically and electronically, that has ever been built! Are you kidding me! A 10,000 lb. truck with 850 ft lbs of torque that has mpg average between 19-24 mpg already before the 3,000 mile break in period! Has 2,700 miles on it currently. The most comfortable, stylistic, machine, can't even really consider it a truck because of the perfect, most smooth riding machine that I have ever been in!
