Remote start added to 2020 Tradesman (SOLVED)

Yeap that;s what I paid for mine $95
 
I put new batteries in my UHS refurbs and they didn't work. I re sold them on ebay and the buyer said the dealer was unable to program because the fobs were married to a vehicle already? UHS won't refund but will give a credit so I will trade for one of their new ones and see if that works?

Hey will this work on a 2020 Ram 2500 Big Horn cummins that has the hood latch sensor wiring? All I need is key fob with remote start and tailgate open buttons and to program the key?
 
Do any of you have the key fob with 5 buttons Part number? Or link for BAM key fobs?

There are multiple part numbers for a 5 button fob because of what it says on the back of the fob. Such as “RAM”, “Laramie”, “Limited”, etc...
Also, that part number you linked is a base 3 button remote.

10-4 thanks. Do you know if the Snap-on OBD reader will let you program the key fobs?

Currently, the only tool that can program a 2019+ fob is the dealer wiTECH. Locksmiths don’t even have equipment yet that can do it.
 
Okay thank you... One more question do I need to turn on the remote start option with the OBD reader before I get the key fobs programed at the dealer?
 
My dealership is telling me that chrysler said that the remote start kit for my tradesman doesn't work for the 2020s and are going to Refund me the money I spent on the install. Sounds like some bs to me.

Did you have a problem with the remote start? I don't know why it will work fine on some trucks but not all of them

Works on my 2020 tradesman. I had mine done a week ago today. No issues. All they did was add the sales code for remote start and program the two keys. I got the key fobs with the remote tailgate. That works, too. I'm glad I have a service department that actually knows what they're doing.

So you had yours factory installed. They just need to activate it. Ours is add on.

Half the time it will not unlock after remote starting the truck. Sometimes I can not turn it back oof with the remote I have to use the spare key to enter the truck. It only works correct 1 out of 10 tries
 
When speaking directly to chrysler they said that they should have a remote start system ready by February/March for the 2020 for a addon.
