I have an issue with airflow coming from the vents in the back of the center jump seat. They appear to be not functioning, the vents under the driver and passenger seats work though and move a ton of air. I was waiting for a recall or something else to pop up before I took it in since there are still functioning vents in the rear. It went in today, 3/20, to get looked at and have the VB6 and W03 recalls completed.
Got the truck back and the notes said the infamous "functioning as designed". Tech tech stated that they held a lighter in front of the vents and the flame moved a little bit, they also closed all of the front vents and said they were able to get more air flow out of these two rear ones. I am already working with Mark of RamCares, but wanted to throw this out there to see if everyone else's is the same.
Would anyone with a crew cab and split bench front seat (center jump seat) be able to check the airflow coming out of their jump seat vents? Just a "by hand" feel would be good enough for me. Also, does your airflow change when changing the fan speed? Thanks in advance!
