Hi Everyone!

I'm looking to order a new 2021 2500 Laramie 4x4. I see a lot of people posting where they got some good prices, but most of those dealers were either on the West or East Coast. Wondering if anyone has had good a good experience with good prices in the Midwest? I'm seeing people say 9-12% off MSRP is reasonable.

Any dealer recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Where in WI are you located? I worked with Van Horn in Plymouth, WI and they were great. They also have other locations throughout the state. Very transparent and best pricing of any dealer I talked to. I did everything via phone and email until the truck came in.

Baxter is Omaha, NE has given a pretty good deal on a factory order.
MSRP: $68,240.00
Invoice: $63,657.00
Sale price: $59,799.00

I paid 15% off 2500 diesel Laramie Night Edition with most options. Laura CJDR in Sullivan, MO 60 mi from STL. Best inventory and best prices I could find 6 weeks ago within 250 miles. My local dealers were offering nothing past Ram's factory rebate. I think 2 of the 3 in my city are above sticker in some cases right now.

These guys are a mega dealer and just bought this small dealership to turn it into the same so they are buying some market right now. I think they are still working some kinks out but was worth some minor headaches.

Thanks Mezz, I'm in Madison and I just spoke to Van Horn today and they are sending me a quote tomorrow AM. They are about 17 miles from me in Stoughton, WI.

Hi Ickabod, 12.3% off, that's a great deal. I'll reach out to them tomorrow.

Frank, 15% off, that's amazing! It would be worth the drive/flight for me, it's only about 6 hours away from me. I'll reach out to them tomorrow.

Hey Frank,

The best Laura CJDR could do on a 2021 was 9.6% off, still a pretty good price for the midwest, but not quite enough to travel for. He said they have better prices on a 2020, but they didn't have what I'm looking for unfortunately.

Thanks again for the lead!

Good to know, I was looking at them but was skeptical. Now not so much. Good deal.

Van Horn for me was invoice minus hold back minus another $500

That's great to know, he told me he was going to pull the offer together. He said it will be invoice - hold back. Did they throw in the extra $500 right away for you?

Yes,they did throw the extra $500 in right away. Then I had any available rebates on top of that.

That's disappointing. I emailed them today to see what kind of price I could get, but haven't heard back yet. Lakeland has been the best price so far MSRP: $68,240.00 sale price: $59,337.00 before rebates and incentives. If I can't get my local dealer a bit closer, then I will be going with Lakeland for a factory build.

I live in Pa. but called all around the country. Even with flying in if i can save thousands it is worth it. What i found were a bunch of deals but they all had prequalifiers ( military, first time, ) and a bunch of others that couldnt be applied. so i dealt locally.

Just wanted to come back to this thread with an update. I contacted dealers throughout the midwest, primarily Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri. A lot of dealers didn't respond, but many did. The best price I was able to get was Invoice - Dealer Holdback on my 2021 Ram 2500 Crew 4x4 6' bed with Hemi. The dealer also include lifetime oil changes, which may or may not help depending on where you're coming from.

2021 Ram 2500 Crew Cab 4x4 Laramie 6' Bed with Hemi pretty loaded.

MSRP: $69,715
Discount: $6,739
Price Paid: $62,976

So about 9.7% off invoice, which I'm very happy with.

If someone is looking in the future, I've had a great experience. I'd contact Dennis Calver ([email protected]), he's with Van Horn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Stoughton (Stoughton, WI).

Hopefully someone will find this helpful.

Cheers!
Jason
