Truck won't unlock after remote start

I was really hoping your issue would have been resolved when I checked back in today! This sucks
I'm going back to the dealer and will not step down. The fob I got is not a aftermarket one and definitely won't let them use this excuse. I just can't believe I gave them the truck with the issue and they give it back to me with the issue still there. Who check it before they called me? I'm so upset that I talked to RAM already and they told me to start the case. If you guys have similar issue contact them and do the same. They need to know there is an issue with their trucks (either software or hardware)
Came back from the dealer. They ordered new fob with 3 buttons instead of four. Tech blames the fob having 4th button (gate release). He said they can't add codes for the gate to my truck and it confuses the truck system. Something with the car/fob making new pin everytime I use it.

That's BS, the 4 button remote i used to add my remote start worked fine, and activated the remote tailgate as a bonus just by pairing the FOB.
Still waiting for the fob but I didn't pay for it. I told them I will pay if it worked fine

I also don’t think this is the case. If it’s what they are describing, they would somehow have to erase only ONE fob from the rf hub (the one you bought), and I’m not sure if that’s possible. Usually it’s erase all, or nothing. After they program the new fob, read your rf hu and see how many fobs are programmed to it.
At the dealer right now. Not sure if I will have time to read it today. We will see if it's even gonna work

It’s gotta be an issue the rf hub.
I told him same thing and he asked me if the remote started came with the hub

There’s only one part number for the rf hub or all 2019-2020 HD Rams , so they are all capable of remote start.
Have not answered your questions. As of now 4 fobs are programmed and waiting for another solution. They will install wiring and hood latch from mopar remote starter kit and see if that works. I wondered if my truck came with incorrect RF hub installed (the one from 1500 series maybe)
You can see your rf hub part number when you read the system ID. It will say ECU part number, and yours should be 56029864Ax. It’s the only part number available for 2020 heavy duty Rams. It would be impossible for them to have installed a 1500 DT rf hub on a heavy duty because the two connectors that plug into the hub are different, which would mean the entire body harness would have to be from a DT, also. There’s no way a body harness from a DT would work on an HD because most of the connectors that plug into the rest of the truck are different, and in different locations.
They just added another fob to the rf hub, which didn’t even prove or disprove what they thought- that the fob with the tailgate release button was causing the issue, because that fob is still married to the hub. Now they’re going to install another hood latch and wiring? I can already tell you that’s not going to be it. They’re wasting all this time and money with futile attempts, when they should just be replacing the $80 rf hub, IMO. At least, if they’re going to throw parts at it, that’s what I would have started with...
